We have an A+ Desktop Technician for a 3 month opportunity is available now in Illinois halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee

Role: 

We are currently looking for an A+ certified Desktop Technician. Candidate needs experience providing desktop support in an enterprise environment and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate needs to be very organized, thorough and timely. An understanding of Window 7 / Windows XP desktop computers and a solid familiarity with all MS Office products is required. This candidate should be well versed in software push tools and ticketing systems, have a professional demeanor, be friendly and outgoing with an energetic attitude. The individual must work well in a team environment as well as individually. The right candidate requires minimal daily supervision and exhibits willingness to learn new technologies quickly. The candidate must have a desire to work directly with end users and must understand that we are doing our job when they need the tools to do theirs so needs to be flexible, professional and accommodating.  This is a 3 month assignment (extensions are expected) in Round Lake, IL (halfway between Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI and about 55 miles from each).

Requirements:

• General hardware break/fix of laptops & desktops
• Troubleshooting and repair of hardware and software issues to maintain business continuity
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Hewlett Packard Network Printers
• New hardware upgrades; installs, moves, adds, changes in a laptop and desktop environment
• Optimizing Hardware/Software/Networking products and configurations as scripted ensuring customer satisfaction.
