Senior QA for a 6 month contract opportunity is available now in Toronto.

Role:

We are looking for Sr QA for a 6 month contract with potential extensions.

Day-to-day job responsibilities for this position will include the following:

• Create comprehensive test scenarios, cases and scripts;
• Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation; log defects; perform preliminary root cause analysis;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Ability to work in a high pressure and quick turn over environment;
• Document, evaluate and research test results for future replication;
• Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved;
• Interface with development teams if clarification is needed on requirements or to convey test results;
• Require good understanding of how the functionality relates to the system under test to achieve objectives;
• Team player with great communication skills; ability to communicate with business analysts, clients and team members in is essential;
• Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information

 Requirement or Qualifications:

• At least 5 years related experience within finance/banking industry
• Solid understanding of test lifecycle, methodologies and techniques
• Experience in designing end-to-end test cases for complex process flows involving multiple applications
• HP QC
• Mainframe, XML
• Wealth experience*

Nice to have:

• CGI MVest or any portfolio management knowledge preferred
• Croesus
