Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, your mandate is to develop and grow channels and key accounts in assigned territory. You will accomplish this by applying sales strategies to achieve in year sales targets of core Wirewerks products. To help lead the Canadian sales team to achieve its revenue and growth targets by meeting or exceeding regional target.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Business Plans – Execute on business plans established by the Director of Business Development North America, the corporate level. Develop territory specific business plan to compliment overall goals and targets.
  • Business Development – To drive new business and relationships in assigned territory by applying sales strategies to achieve in year sales targets and acquisition of a pipeline of new client prospects. Drive revenue with key partners by establishing mutual target accounts (contractors, consultants and end users) and markets. Accurately forecast and close required sales. Develop and maintain industry, product knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape within your territory for both Wirewerks and our competitors
  • Sales Programs – Develop and manage sales strategies and promotions for target market & customers and execute on these strategies in a timely manner to meet the company’s growth targets. To drive and execute programs including; mutually agreed strategies and business plans with our key distributor partners; marketing and promotions programs, advertising, P.O.P. programs, training (webinars) that are developed for our key distributors, contractors, consultants and end users. With the VP, expand on initial success to build multi-year funnel of prospects and revenue streams. Plan, develop, execute and follow-up on all promotional campaign details to ensure flawless execution at all levels.
  • Channel & Key Account Management – Introduce and reinforce the company’s solutions and value proposition to strategic channel partners and end users to ensure discretionary business. Build, manage and maintain quality long-term relationships with channel partners at management level within their organization. Inventory management at Branch level. Take Wirewerks programs to market and keep current on all Wirewerks information including new catalogues, updated price lists, new product introductions etc… Ensure client satisfaction at all times.
  • Reporting – as required prepare reports including; monthly funnel, sales forecasts, budgets, promotional program updates and analysis and monthly expenses. Will also be required to manage territory specific information with the CRM
  • Other – General office responsibilities as required

Technical Skills:
  • Minimum 3-5 years Channel management/sales experience with a proven ability to successfully build, grow, manage and maintain long term customer relationships
  • Prior sales and new business development experience working within the cabling or distribution industry
  • Mature, self motivated professional with the ability to represent the company on a national stage
  • Good working knowledge of Windows software including word and power point. High level of knowledge with outlook and excel
  • Post Secondary education
