Our client has a requirement for Senior Business Analysts for long term contract opportunities. The positions are located in Ottawa.

Duties:
- To provide expert advice on key initiatives to enable the client to deploy high impact business processes that are focused, accountable, and measurable;
- Expert advice in assessing the client (Government of Canada) value of new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions;
- Identification and provision of preliminary costs of potential options;
- Expert advice on and/or analysis of the HR strategic direction and assisting in the development of HR options, aligning and integrating the HR plans with the strategic direction of the organization’s business plan;
- Develop sustainable Human Resources plans to support in areas such as organizational transformation, organizational planning and design, human resources utilization, job analysis, performance planning, auditing and evaluating and forecasting;
- Expert advice on the development and implementation strategies related to Human Resources Information Services (HRIS), specifically PeopleSoft 8.9 or 9.1;
- Verify employee information workflow processed by automated human resources systems;
- Recommending and identifying interventions aimed at improving organizational effectiveness through system-centered change;
- Develop and implement strategies, plans, and tools to support transformation
Deliverables:
- Work plan and schedule;
- Presentations, proposals including preliminary costs of potential options and briefing notes with respect to business transformation prepared during the contract;
- Document including findings, recommended solution, strategy, plans and tools;
- Process map;
- Communication plan;
- Report of findings with changes to the assessment and action plan
- performance measurement/evaluation frameworks
- Presentation decks and delivery of coaching session and targeted workshops
- Risk assessment and management frameworks;
- Continuous improvement processes/workflow models;
- Organizational development process map;
- Report of analysis of successful implementations in similar environments;
- Environmental scan;
- SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis report;
- Technical workflow document
- All copies of documentation used in analysis or in preparation of the deliverables for project archive purposes.
