Job Description:

One of our financial services hiring managers is looking for SAS Administrator to join his team in Toronto for a 6month contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting user programming issues using SAS programming and for implementing BI security on metadata objects as well as testing and migration of BI objects to Production environments. The candidate will also be responsible of the development of Information map, WRS Reports, Stored Process, BI Dash board and Portal Maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS: 5 to 7 years of industry experience Experience in SAS administration of AIX and Windows SAS servers in a Banking/Financial environment. Proven experience with AIX / Windows operating systems. Scripting experience in shell -Knowledge and experience in web sphere running on Window server. Excellent knowledge of SAS Metadata Management console and all components including server management. User Management, -Library Management. Knowledge of SAS Access and ODBC engine connectivity with data sources. Good knowledge in installing/use of SAS Client applications which include SAS Enterprise Guide/SAS MS -Add in/ PCFileServer/ Information Map studio OLAP Cube Studio and Enterprise Miner version 6.2. Experience in resolving issues related to SAS Client and SAS Mid tier applications. Experience in scheduling batch SAS jobs using CRON and Autosys. Experience in user file system management, optimizing SAS Server performance and attending technical support issues Nice to have: SAS Certification
