Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Senior Programmer Analyst for a 2 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Role:

Our Client is looking for a candidate with a Minimum of 5 years experience in a Sr. Programmer Analyst role in a project based environment.

Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Finance systems and Processes in a Retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient in technology and knowledge of software development methodologies/techniques

• Work experience in development of Multi-tier business applications

• Good analysis, critical thinking and problem solving skills

• Strong communication skills - written and oral

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict-management skills

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Programming PRO*C with embedded SQL

• Programming Visual C++

• Programming in the Unix environment

• Development in an Oracle 9I or higher environment 

• Knowledge/experience in a multi tier client server environment (specifically: Windows, Unix, Oracle, Tuxedo)

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, PCVS

• Practical C#/.NET technical skills and knowledge

• Technical experience with ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, XML and Javascript

• Programming in PL/1, SAS

• Development in the mainframe environment using, DB2/SQL, SPUFI, IMS DB/DC,  JES2,TSO/ISPF, MVS/ESA, FILEAID, ENDEVOR, SYNCSORT

• Proficiency in mainframe JCL

• Crystal Report development
