Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for a QA Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role:
Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:
• Create comprehensive test scenarios, cases and scripts;
• Execute test scripts according to application requirements documentation; log defects; perform preliminary root cause analysis;
• Document, evaluate and research test results for future replication;
• Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved;
• Interface with development teams if clarification is needed on requirements or to convey test results;
• Require good understanding of how the functionality relates to the system under test to achieve objectives;
• Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information
• Ability to communicate with business analysts, clients and team members in is essential;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Ability to work in a high pressure and quick turn over environment;
• Team player with great communication skills; ability to communicate with business analysts, clients and team members in is essential;

Requirement or Qualifications:
• 4 to 7 years related experience within finance/banking industry
• Solid understanding of test lifecycle, methodologies and techniques
• Experience in designing complex test cases/test execution/defect tracking

Top 3 technical must have skills: • HP QC
