Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Business Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Deliverables  

• Identifies and translates high level, conceptual user requirements into specifications of business requirements to guide service development activities
• Helps develops test cases and involves in test activities
• Monitors and facilitates the use of the HSP milestone tracking database, data analysis for trending and data quality checks to ensure data is accurate and timely
• Provides support to HSP reconciliation activities including checking MIS records and contacting HSPs to validate information
• Assists with research, analysis and data gathering in support of project initiatives (Steering Committees, working groups, project streams etc)

Qualifications

• Min. 1 year experience of working in the health care sector or related field in analyst role
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a junior business analyst role
• Experience with project milestone database oversight activities, quality checking, reporting and data entry
• Experience with HSP validation activities where multiple sources have to be consulted to ensure accurate data is available for HSP communication
• Excellent organization, verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal with unplanned issues
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Nice to Have

• Experience working within the Ontario Healthcare sector.
