Experience/Education Requirements:• University degree in computer-science, business/commerce or related discipline.
• Five year’s work related experience with two or three years with personal computer hardware and applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge in Project Management
• Previous dealership experience or knowledge of dealer processes preferred.
• French/English bilingualism an asset.
Purpose of the Role: • To maintain and support the RIMS Environment (Production and Test) including ensuring availability and controlling access through UserID.
• To provide support for RIMS applications and Data Sourcing to resolve problems/issues.
• To participate in various projects as a subject matter expert for areas relating to dealer processes and RIMS such as ERA2, Infostream, DCS, etc.
• Actively participate in projects relating to the areas of responsibility.
• Consultant acts as a subject matter expert in areas relating to dealer environment, processes, applications and interface to TCI.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:1. Maintains and supports the RIMS environments (Production and Test) including availability and controlling access through UserID.
2. Coordinates updates for the RIMS environments with Reynolds & Reynolds to ensure that the Production Environment is representative of the current Dealer Environment and that the Test Environment is properly suited for the required tests.
3. Coordinates implementation of ERA2 updates and enhancements to the dealers with Reynolds and Reynolds. Verifies and approves proposed documentation and communication.
4. Coordinates access to the Test Environment during User Acceptance Testing by Business Unit Staff for project in development.
5. Provides RIMS support for Dealer Technology Support Centre in addressing, analysing and resolving Dealer issues and problems via Vantive.
6. Establishes and maintains close working relationship with multiple IS groups and Business Units to assemble required resources to gather information, resolve issues/problems and to ensure appropriate broadcast in a timely manner.
7. Supports Data Sourcing for multiple Business Units, Dealers and Third Party Vendor.8. Writes, edits, verifies and publishes documentation for applications and projects.
