Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for a Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Role:
Deliverables
  • Provide technical & implementation support in French and English to end-users who are experiencing issues with the financial application.
  • Record and track technical/application issues and complaints and contribute to problem identification.
  • Participate in French functional application testing
  • Exercise independent judgment in selecting and interpreting information, handling deviations from standard methods and resolving difficulties
  • Track and control the change management process within the project
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement, and recommend process change
  • Be able to handle implementation projects & be accountable for the deliverables
  • Deliver project tasks as requested by the Project Manager
  • Provide feedback for the Project Manager regarding progress, barriers and strategies to deliver the project
  • Identify barriers to progress and suggests strategies to overcome barriers
  • Maintain an appropriate knowledge of technology to ensure effective system design and implementation
  • Utilize existing leadership skills when required to manage implementation activities, which could include leadership of resources


Requirement or Qualifications:
  • Experience providing technical & implementation support in French and English to end-users who are experiencing issues with Microsoft GP.
  • Experience recording and tracking technical/applications issues and complaints and contribute to problem identification.
  • Experience managing implementation projects with deliverables.
  • Experience with test planning and execution.
  • Experience with testing new functionalities (UAT) of an application.
  • University Degree or other relevant certification and or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience supporting the implementation of Microsoft GP
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation & support of financial ERP applications.
  • Facilitating mitigation of identified risks.
  • Experience with Wiki collaboration tool, JIRA, Footprints
  • Experience in fast paced, multi-application support environment
  • Experience working in environments meeting aggressive SLAs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of change management processes
  • Experience supporting different functional groups (QA, Application/Technical Support, Infrastructure/Operation)


Nice to have
  • Experience working in healthcare sector.
  • Experience managing projects with a small team


Other
  • The role may require on-call support
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends for schedule and unscheduled work


TECHNICAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
  • Fully Bilingual - verbal/written (French/English)
  • Experience implementing Microsoft GP
  • Experience providing bilingual implementation/technical support
