About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS Developer  for a 6 Month (Part time2-3 days per week ) Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, ON.

One of our financial services hiring managers is looking for a contractor to join their team for a 6 month part time (2-3 days per week) contract who has experience with SQL server, SSIS, SSRS, Visual Studio (and potentially SAS).

This team supports 5 different lines of business and is currently under a commitment to deliver a Data Warehouse by the end of the fiscal year. They need this individual to come in and understand the existing data mart and how it can be improved and enhanced. They are looking for a proactive thinker, someone with a true consultative approach. Currently they have a Database specialist developing the architecture, and this individual will be working with this person to complete this project.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with this type of project
• SQL Server background
• SSIS
• SSRS
• SAS (would be a nice to have, but not required)
• Visual Studio
• Experience having assisted in developing the architecture for a Data Warehouse (this individual will not be doing it on his/her own)
• Experience having worked with a large data source/high volume of data
• Financial/insurance background (would be a nice to have, but not required)
