About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Solutions Architect/Business Analyst for a Permanent opportunity.  The position is located in Calgary, Alberta.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding business processes and facilitating workshops with business subject matter experts to capture current state
• Working as a team to define future state business processes and identify gaps
• Working closely with the Sr. Solution Architect to understand and align conceptual system enhancements with corporate strategic direction.
• Engaging all stakeholders (business & IT) to ensure successful delivery of software enhancements and data modifications.
• Providing design input and direction, writing documentation, writing and executing test cases and coaching developers etc.

Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Mobility solutions experience
• Experience with occasionally connected Mobile Applications
• Client/Server experience
• Data Modeling experience
• Architecture development experience
• SUP (Sybase Unwired Platform) experience is considered an asset
• Sybase Afaria experience is considered an asset
• Multi-threaded windows forms development experience is considered an asset
• Web Services development experience is considered an asset
• Strong software development background preferably with mobility software
• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
