About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Windows/UNIX Systems Administrator for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Scarborough, ON.  This individual should have very strong tool and OS knowledge

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Server builds
• Tool installation
• Environment inventory
• Running commands on the UNIX side
• Installation and configuration

Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

•  5+ years of relevant systems administration experience
• Strong OS skills on Windows/Unix
• Tool configuration knowledge for the following:
  • SCOM,
  • SCCM,
  • Tivoli
  • TSM
  • BMC blade logic/BPPM
  •  Web Application Skills (WAS)
•  IIS experience
• Tivoli Storage Manager experience - knowledge of how to back everything up Database (DB2, SQL and Oracle) skills Good communication
