Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Top Secret Cleared Network Analyst for a 480 day contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Ottawa, Ontario. Top Secret/Secret Project requires resources to have an IM/IT focus in the definition, development and delivery of IT Infrastructure services. The project requires these resources to develop, implement and maintain a set of standardized IT systems architectures and services for all users within the department (5000+ users).

Requirement or Qualification

Qualified Candidates will have:

·         10+ years of cumulative experience in performing the function of a 
      Network Analyst

·         Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in planning, architecting,
      designing, installing, configuring, testing, building and implementing  
      network systems, components and protocols for a client base of
      5000 users or more

·         5+years of cumulative in configuring, installing, maintaining,
      troubleshooting, and optimizing local and wide area network
      connections including the following: Transmission Control
      Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP); Virtual Private Networks (VPN);
      Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN); and Communications media

·         3+ years of experience in configuring, installing, maintaining, and
      optimizing enterprise servers and associated software. To include at
      least one of the following: Microsoft Network Operating System; IP
      Networks; and  Application System Integration

·         3+ years of experience in analyzing network performance, Quality of
      Service (QoS), network security and capacity in order to remedy or
      provide solutions

·         3+ years of experience in conducting impact analysis on any
      changes to the network set-up

·         2+ years experience in installing and configuring recent Cisco and
      Brocade switches, routers, and network technologies

·         2 + years of experience in supporting security networking equipment,
      including: Intrusion Detection Systems; Firewalls; End-point security
      systems; Border Protection Services; and Cryptographic Devices

·         1 year of experience in CA Spectrum (network monitor) tool.

·         1 year of experience in: _Brocade VDX 6720; and HP Procurve
      3500yl.

·         1 year of experience in Cisco technologies including in any of the
      following categories: Nexus 5548/5596 UP (layer 2 and 3); Nexus
      2000 FEX core distribution; Nexus 1000v (virtual); Enhance Secured
      Multi-Tenancy (Esmt); Cisco Virtual Multi tenant Data Center
      (VMDC); Cisco FlexPod Cisco UCS; and Cisco ASA/vASA (Firewall).

·         Computer Science and/or Computer Engineering Degree and/or
      Technical Diploma(s) in an IT related field.

·         MUST HAVE A VALID TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
