Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for NOC Support Analyst – Level 2 for a 1 year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Winnipeg.

Responsibilities:
As part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) for a cloud-based service Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE)/Office 365 (O365), you will be responsible for 24x7x365 Tier 1 operations support as well as incident handling and escalations. The NOC monitors approximately 3000 servers/assets spanning multiple datacenters and time zones.

As part of the operations team, any escalations will come through from Tier 3 customer support, or through partners. There is no interaction with customers directly.


Requirement or Qualifications:
-Service monitoring experience is a definite plus.
-Linux experience (base)
-Windows Server (base)
-Exchange
-Active Directory
-MySQL/MSSQL
-Postfix
-DNS
-SMTP
-Windows PowerShell
-Perl
-Bash (awk/grep/sed)
-Deductive Reasoning/Troubleshooting/Incident Management
-Network operations experience with any large scale organization is a huge plus
-Microsoft Certification, Degree in Computer Science, or a combination of experience plus education required.
