About the Job
Our client provides Enterprise Content Management solutions to the legal and financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Technical Consultant you bring a strong technical experience combined with an in depth knowledge of the inner workings of legal and accounting firms. This is a post sales role, where you will be responsible for the implementation of the software.
As the lead you will:
- Lead business consulting engagements with clients to assist them in tailoring solutions to best suit their requirements;
- Gather specifics from a technical perspective, migrate client’s data to software - this can be very large and complex
- Assist in developing strategic initiatives to secure new opportunities with clients;
- Assist in executing client projects throughout the project life cycle;
- Gather specifics from a technical perspective; work with clients to prepare Functional Specifications incorporating both business and technical requirements for custom development solutions;
- Develop and mentor internal resources;
- Prepare and maintain documentation regarding implemented systems and designs;
- Interact with end users to define system requirements and provide support to resolve problems or enhance their understanding of systems;
Requirements or Qualifications
- 5+ years business experience in IT and business related consulting
- 5+ years’ experience with Electronic Document Management/Records Management systems,
- Strong technical skills
- Creative self-starter with the ability to master new concepts quickly;
- Energetic and work well with people while exhibiting exceptional diplomacy skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with exceptional listening and interpersonal skills
- Goal oriented to achieve project deadlines through self-motivation, persistence and determination;
- Have a solid understanding of both business and technical aspects of all engagements.
