Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking a Junior Account Manager.  This position will influence revenue across Zylog service lines by gathering new leads, up selling and promoting Zylog products and services.  This includes, but is not limited to the following activities:  Prospecting, Cold Calling, Account Management, Forecasting, Pipeline Management, etc.


Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Initiate outbound "cold-calls" to generate new and recurring accounts. 
  • Gather information to help grow the prospect database, and support the data-gathering phase of the sales process with follow-up calls.
  • Understand , explain and negotiate  client contract and ensure non standard client Master Service Agreements are in line with Zylog corporate policies
  • Ongoing follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business
  • Stay current with company products, services, resources, programs, policy and procedures; research information on competitors, industry trends, prospects and customers.
  • Develop relationships with senior-level technical and business decision makers to contribute in building sales strategies.
  • Contribute to the process of screening resumes to meet client and role specifications.
  • Follow up with candidates and clients to receive feedback relating to client and customer satisfaction. 
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect’s objections.
  • Assist in the development of RFP’s and RFQ’s for established clients and client prospects

Specific skills and experience required for this position are:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Business or a related field preferred.
  • Previous Sales, Account Management and Business Development experience in high tech industry preferred.
  • 1-2 years sales experience in a call centre environment preferred.
  • Exposure to a customer service and IT support atmosphere an asset.
  • Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a high paced environment.
  • An impeccable ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated complex problem solving skills.
  • Dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
