IT Sales – Professional Services Sales Manager

In search of an enthusiastic and professional individual with education or equivalent experience in IT for direct sales of professional services and consulting.

Need to understand and rapidly assimilate client technical requirements to translate project requisitions into job orders.

The IT Sales position includes several weeks of on-the-job training for our state-of-the-art tools and processes. The Recruiting Sales two week Boot Camp is enhanced with solution sales training methodology, workflow process training, and continuous educational series to maximize personal potential in this learning environment. This is an opportunity to work with an elite sales team that supports premier organizations across Canada.

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Manage a portfolio of business to gather new requirements for professional services
  • Transfer client requirements into open job orders, post the open jobs and screen candidates
  • Initiate outbound "cold-calls" to generate new and recurring accounts 
  • Gather information to help grow the prospect database, and support the data-gathering phase of the sales process with follow-up calls
  • Understand , explain and negotiate  client contract Master Service Agreements
  • Ongoing follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction with ongoing business
  • Stay current with company products, services, resources, programs, policy and procedures; research information on competitors, industry trends, prospects and customers
  • Develop relationships with senior-level technical and business decision makers
  • Contribute to the process of screening resumes to meet client and role specifications.
  • Follow up with candidates and clients to receive feedback relating to client and customer satisfaction
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect’s objections
  • Assist in the development of RFP’s and RFQ’s for established clients and client prospects

Specific skills and experience required for this position are:
  • Education or equivalent experience in IT sufficient to understand and interpret client technical requirements for diverse project specifications
  • Previous Sales experience in any aspect of high tech, network, systems, software development or similar experience is preferred
  • Ability to “ask for the sale”
  • Proven track record at achieving measurable goals in a high paced environment
  • An ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated complex problem solving skills
  • Dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
