Job Description:

• Experience design and development on Teradata platform.
• Data Warehouse Experience. Data Analysis and Solution Architecture Data Architecture (Expert).
• UNIX /LINUX (Advanced).
• Teradata SQL (Expert).
• Teradata Utilities (Expert).
• ETL Technical Design as applied to data architecture.
• Demonstrated competency in all phases of software development.
• Expert level communication, both verbal and written.
• Expert level problem solving and analytical skills.
• Expert understanding of business application and solutions development.
• Expert level design and coding skills, testing methodologies and techniques as it relates to data.
• Experience interfacing with an off-shore development team to lead/coordinate development efforts.
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines with ability to deliver high quality services.
• Ability to self –motivate in a fast paced environment Exercise solid judgment and ability to push self & others for results

Additional Skill Set:

• Teradata Certified
• Functional; Knowledge on Retail Domain Data Modelling Experience; Delivering both logical models and designs Experience as a Database Administrator Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Able to empower and motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be capable to balance theory and practical reality.
• Expert understanding of Business Solutions Architecture, Framework, Processing, Server Availability, Scalability, and ETL implementations as related to Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
• Data Migration between Teradata, MS SQL server and Oracle. Proactive identification of inefficient/poorly performing queries and suggesting improvements to application support teams/development teams/customers.
• Control-M workload scheduler experience
