Job Description:
Our client a national leader in homecare respiratory services is looking for an IT Manager - Infrastructure. This is a full time, permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of 4 - operational and strategic planning, including planning projects and negotiating the allocation of resources
- Managing IT staffing, including recruitment, coaching development, evaluation and disciplinary actions
- Working with vendors, outsourcer and consultant contracts and service agreements
- Making recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure
- Approving all hardware and software as required
- Developing and managing the telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems
- Developing and implementing all IT policies and procedures, based on group policies, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, and service provision
- Managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems
- Identifying future services by researching technology, evaluating trends, understanding organization goals, strategies and user projects
Requirement or Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Must have strong systems admin background – LAN WAN - ideally was a Systems Admin in a past
- University degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering
- MCSE, ITIL or PMP certifications will be considered an asset
- 3 – 5 years of management or supervisory experience in IT coupled with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeved and working alongside your team as well as being able to present to the President
- Exceptionally customer service orientated and highly self-motivated
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Ability to prioritize, plan and multi-task paying close attention to detail
