Role
Our client is looking for two Senior Project Managers to work on Life and Health Product and Technology Projects.
These seasoned Project Managers will be able to develop, plan, analyze and assign priorities and requirements. These individuals will need to develop project plans with milestones, defined project phases, set deadlines and manage staff. As a Senior PM, they would be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple projects within the Bank’s Insurance’s Life and Health Product and Technology Projects.
Candidates would need to have worked with large projects and initiatives for both Direct Life and Health Insurance group. These project managers should be experienced in the use of Project Management best practices including the development of key deliverables such as Charter, Business Case, Project Schedule (MS Project), Project Budget, Status Reporting, and managing several cross functional teams. The candidates should have demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, planning, analyzing, evaluating and assigning priorities to deliverables and requirements.
- Defining project phases, setting deadlines and managing staff.
- Developing project plans with milestones.
- Coordinating all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers.
- The oversight and execution of multiple projects and project managers.
- Setting direction at an operational level, working autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborating with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
- Managing large-scale applications, programs or projects across multiple product lines, involving significant scope and complexity.
- Ensuring delivery of projects to the business partner and meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
- Performing a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure meet promised schedules.
- Performing risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to the Executive and / or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions/support.
- Managing the acquisition and deployment of resources, including budget, by working with the Project Managers to secure the resources required for the project.
- Ensuring client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise.
- Working with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers.
Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 6+ years Project Management experience
- PMLC experience
- Life and Health Product and Technology Project industry experience
- Financial industry experience
- Experience with large projects and initiatives
- ITIL Certification
- PMI Certification, PMP is preferred
