Our client has a requirement for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Mississauga or London, ON.

Role:
Develop, plan, analyze, evaluate and assign priorities to deliverables and requirements. Define project phases, set deadlines and manage staff. Develop project plans with milestones. Coordinate all meeting and interface with business units, staff and service providers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple project streams.

Accountabilities are:
• Sets direction at an operational level works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
• Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
• Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure meet promised schedules.
• Performs risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to the Executive and / or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions/support.
• Manages the acquisition and deployment of resources, including budget, by working with the Project Managers to secure the resources required for the project.
• Ensures client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise.
• The successful candidate will be required to work with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers.

Requirement or Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing large and complex IT projects.
  • Full life cycle development experience.
  • Experience with proven project methodology tools.
  • PMI or ITIL certification.
  • Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • ATM and ATM Switch experience and knowledge is a definite asset.
  • Core location can be London, Mississauga or Toronto, with ability to travel between locations as necessary to support Technology and Business teams.
  • Ability to travel to the US occasionally.

  • Create front side connection (Add additional URI)
  • Update .wsdl and xslt files
  • Testing services with SOAP UI

High level responsibilities:
The ultimate goal of this role is to enable Public Sector customers to provide their services to their constituents (both internal and external) by effectively using client solutions.  To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need to drive incremental revenue through selling the end to end client solution stack as well as specific workloads.  To deliver the business in a large geography, the Opportunity manager will also need to plan and coordination with their Inside territory manager, as well as partner account managers and partners.

Key Deliverables
Strategic Opportunity Sales Plan


  • Proactively drive the planning and orchestration of the territory team to meet scorecard and revenue goals. A territory plan with prioritized strategies and approaches to focus efforts to achieve operational and sales goals will be required.
  • The plan must include tactics for opportunity creation sufficient to meet pipeline coverage and  revenue targets
  • The plan must include a strategy and tactics to meet customer satisfaction goals.


Territory Management


  • set up and manage a regular rhythm with key members of the Territory Team Unit to ensure successful attainment of strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for territory
  • Lead weekly forecast review with management. Participate in a weekly opportunity review with their inside territory manager to plan and agree an approach to the territory
  • Virtual customer meetings will be a key tool for this role with f2f customer meetings focused on opportunity acceleration as well as growing and closing new opportunities
  • Develop and manage a healthy (150%+ coverage in week 1 of quarter) and accurate (90%) pipeline that is sufficient to meet or exceed quota expectations
  • Incorporate plans to drive strategic and competitive wins


Collaboration


  • Foster productive working relationships internally in client and externally with partners and customers
  • Engage in co-selling with partners (via partner account managers) to teach them how they can effectively close sales, coaching the partner and providing strategic feedback.
  • Help orchestrate movement of opportunities through the sales process
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team and with cross group members e.g. Partners, Partner account managers (PAMs), and Inside Solution Specialists to influence revenue, satisfaction and adoption.

Opportunity Management


  • Create a set number of new revenue opportunities with a set created revenue target
  • Own the sales effort during the Develop (20%) through Close (100%) stages of client Solution Sales process (MSSP) for the following:


  • large opportunities that are valued over $75,000
  • opportunities with strategic or referenceable customers
  • opportunities for strategic products including specific competitive targets


  • using full MSSP execution and CRM compliance to ensure all opportunities are managed systematically and fully tracked in CRM
  • execute a Conditions of Satisfaction (COS) agreement on each engaged sales opportunity
  • Help orchestrate partner and client resources to drive opportunities to closure.  
  • Prioritize opportunities in pipeline for sales execution
  • Leverage technical and licensing knowledge to maximize the utilization of client products within the account base.  Up-sell and Cross-sell into existing opportunities is essential for success.


Culture of team:


  • The Public Sector inside Sales team is a long tenured team.  This role will need to be able to drive credibility with that team quickly. This role requires close teaming with internal territory manager and inside sales specialists to manage the territory as well as local market integration with Partner account managers and their partners.  We are driving an increased culture of individual accountability to ensure a performance driven sales culture.  A successful candidate will need to embrace and thrive in a sales culture based on results as well behaviour behind a highly disciplined sales process.


Qualifications:
Must have skills:


  • Current understanding of client products, programs and Public sector licensing
  • Sales acumen – proven experience in building a pipe with sufficient coverage and also managing opportunities through to close
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to get access to and sell to senior IT decisions makers as well as C-level executives.
  • Proven Business Acumen to sell to decision makers/influencers (outside of IT) in Accounts
  • Ability to orchestrate efforts of team members to achieve overall objectives
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker with great enthusiasm for the role and solid
  • Bilingualism is required for the role based in Montreal


Nice to have skills:


  • Existing relationships with Public Sector accounts and partners in their territory
  
Educational and Industry Background:
5+ years of related experience in an External sales role.
Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering/Computer Sciences/ Business preferred.

Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.

Manage day to day project activities of medium complexity or units/phases of a larger complex project Plan, execute, control and close out project against defined scope and budget. Utilize accepted standards and procedures. Maintain team relationships and team coaching and development. Manage stakeholder expectations. Manage risk and ensure compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of several medium complexity projects.


Key accountabilities are:

• Works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
• Manages activities of medium complexity projects. Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
• Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure to meet schedules.
• Strong involvement in business IMO.
• Management of small to large projects (ranging in size from $400K to $3M), including multiple internal applications and external vendors.
• Estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, budget, risk and resources.
• Accountability for project budget and time lines.


Requirements or Qualifications

•Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects
•Banking/Credit Card experience as a Project Manager (preference will be given to candidates with recent experience)
•Management of mid size (500K to 1m) projects
•Candidate must have extremely strong communication (written & verbal) skills.
•Adaptable – must be able to bring clarity to uncertainty
•Autonomous – able to work on their own to gather information and get the job done
•Previous experience with Off Shore will an asset and would put them ahead of the game
•Understanding of distributed systems environment (WAS, Java) as well as Host is needed
•Full life cycle development experience
•Experience with proven project methodology tools
•PMI or ITIL certification
•Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

The team is responsible for designing, building and maintaining robust infrastructure Source Code Management (SCM) environments for developers that meet and align with Enterprise standards and direction.

• 3 plus years experience with a breadth of Enterprise Source Code Management (SCM) tools: MKS-Source Integrity, CVS, VSS; and Windows O/S platforms, Windows batch or UNIX korn shell scripting

Our client has a requirement for a Bilingual QA Analyst for a 3 month contract (with a potential extension) opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.

The Quality Assurance Analyst role is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives.


The role will be responsible for the following:

• Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives
• Participate in test planning, assist in preparing various testing documentation (e.g. test strategy, traceability matrix, test plan, defect management plan, schedule etc.) and test results walkthroughs
• Identify, develop and document test scenarios and/or test cases
• Configure and implement and/or maintain and validate test data as well as validate test environments
• Execute test cases within the testing environment, ensuring accuracy and record test results / defects and obtain approval
• Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases and maintain documentation of test results according to defined processes / tools
• Participate in post implementation reviews and processes (e.g. lessons learned, post-install application verifications, warranty support reviews etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of a test result walkthroughs / presentations to the project team and business representatives
• Apply and follow established testing best practices
• Complete tasks according to project timelines/schedules and costs
• Recommend process improvements where appropriate
• Develop and maintain relationships with project team members, third party service partners, and client areas as appropriate
• Participate in third party service partner report card feedback
• May provide subject matter expertise on specific application usage or area of knowledge (e.g., setting up customer data on various products)
• Ensure timely notification of issues and problems, and make recommendations for problem / issue resolution

Our client has a requirement for an Senior Mainframe Developer for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga, Ontario.


Requirements or Qualifications

Responsible for detailed technical design, development and maintenance of applications on mainframe platforms Design and code program; create test transactions and run tests. Conduct analysis of needs and goals for the development and implementation of applications systems. Review, analyze and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installation. Establish disaster recovery plan. Maintains online and batch applications.

A vacancy exists for a senior developer to join the team in the delivery and development of this project and to eventually contribute to future enhancement, support and maintenance post-delivery. Prime responsibility will be to develop detailed design specifications, create and review code and assess impact on other applications. Role will work closely with other team members to ensure consistency in coding standards and approaches and to optimize any synergy and re-use opportunities.

•Responsible for leading technical aspects of project from inception through to deployment. Participate in analysis and system design specification sessions. Documentation of design options and solutions according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Ensure that solutions adhere to development best practices and architectural principles.
•Apply analytical skills to resolve problems and deliver viable solutions. Anticipate obstacles and execute proactive approaches to issues. Active participation in issue resolution.
•Provide detailed development estimates to Project Manager for development effort as well as weekly status reporting and budget forecasting.
•Configuration management for the sub projects within the release.
•Responsible for coding, testing, packaging, deployment and support of builds as code is promoted from development, system, acceptance and production environments. May lead code reviews.
•Work closely with System Test Environment Management Team (STEMT) to ensure that environments are fully functional and that builds are properly deployed.
•Participate in development of test strategy, test plans, test cases and testing efforts (unit testing and integration testing of code).
•Provide technical support to business and testing team during testing phases. Track defects, defect triage and resolution.
•Data set up and environment shake down.
•Coaching / mentoring of junior developers.
•Knowledge transfer within group.
•Ensure required documentation is housed in the project repository and that knowledge transfer has occurred to full time staff upon completion of contract term.


SKILLS: Must have strong skills and working experience in mainframe MVS, COBOL, JCL Utilities, databases such as DB 2 or IMS

Our client has a requirement for a QA Manager for a 5 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga and may occasionally work from downtown Toronto.

We are looking for a Sr. Test Manager for five months who will be overseeing two offshore and one onshore QA/tester. Candidates must have experience testing front end and back end systems using Oracle Identity Attestation (OIA) and an in-house application using SQL.

This individual would also need to have experience writing test cases, test scripts and executing test cases.
Experience with writing system functional specifications & User Acceptance Test plans and prior experience with testing for web based applications.

The work location is in Mississauga and may occasionally work from downtown Toronto.

The Test Manager role is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives.
The Test Manager will coordinate a major quality assurance program at a management level. Lead/manage the release QA/Tester team in planning, preparing and executing effective test process for the project, testing and deployment Lifecycle from requirements definition to implementation and warranty support.


Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

•Manage and coordinate delivery and maintenance of testing documentation (e.g. test strategies, plans, schedule, cost estimates) by using risk analysis methodologies and tools that align with the development approach/methodology selected for the project.
•Ensure test process, methodologies and tools are applied appropriately and that test phase entry/exit criteria are agreed to by stakeholders and applied by the test team.
•Prioritize testing tasks based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled.
•Assist with estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, risk and resources.
•Report the status of test planning, defects and execution activities, including regular status updated to the project team using quality metrics.
•Lead the QA/Tester team in using test tools, defect tracking tools and other test support tools and identify and implement process improvements where applicable.
•Coordinate with the Infrastructure teams that will be responsible for executing application load and stress testing
•Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, etc.) and that testing meets governance requirements.
•Provide effective and timely communication with the release delivery teams, including release status, risk assessment and release health.
•Ensure business satisfaction by communicating with them in a timely manner regarding release status, escalating and resolving issues as they arise.
•Manage offshore and on shore resources
•Manage and perform testing for applications related to Technology Risk Management and Information Security (TRMIS), including user attestation applications, identify management, risk and control framework and end user computing controls.
