Our client has a requirement for a Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

This role is for a Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee a single project for the US within the Workspace Enterprise Optimization program. This project will specifically deliver on infrastructure solutions and implementation to meet the goal of moving from and XP workstation environment to a Windows 7 environment. This PM will need to provide strong leadership to both technical solution work and implement, as well as manage a budget and provide over all structure and leadership to the team. The ideal person for this role will be one that is able to oversee and drive a project with various technical components to completion as well as manage both project and technical risk.

Key accountabilities are: • Sets direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other infrastructure teams to establish and execute on common goals.
• Direct large-scale projects involving significant scope and complexity. Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
• Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure meet promised schedules.
• Performs risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to the Executive and / or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions/support.
• The successful candidate will be required to work with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers.
MUST HAVE SKILLS: -10+ years experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager (preference will be given to candidates with more recent experience)
-PMP Certification
-Conceptual understanding of technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Internet Proxy, and VPN
-Demonstrated project completion and timeline success
-Strong leadership skills and ability to drive projects
-Ability to manage risk on a high level
-MS Project
-Ability to present and communicate at an executive level
-Ability to collaborate with team members to drive project results
-Some travel to the US will be required

Our client has a requirement for a Project Control Officer for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.

Role:
Ensure project control procedures and policies within a program of related projects are executed. Assist in maintaining project schedules. Develop and maintain issue logs. Maintain project repositories of documents. Prepare documents for various recurring meetings including minutes, issue logs etc. Develop presentation documentation as required for project teams. Develop consolidate program status reports.
We require a project coordinator whose primary focus will be on providing financial management and analytical support to project managers at the program level for a large (Tier 1) initiative.
As part of this project team, prime responsibility will be to:
• Manage relationships and all activities with all required partners (business, TS Finance, program PMO, TS project teams, external partners) related to program one-time and on-going financials (prepare budget, forecasts and actuals).
• Utilize project management software for development and distribution of comprehensive set of monthly, weekly and ad hoc project financial reporting to a variety of program stakeholders (including templates for use by other project members).
• Work closely with TS Finance to provide necessary detailed financial data to support the forecasting and tracking of capitalization and amortization.
• Manage all financial status meetings for the program. Provide support for invoice processing. Manage process for all required updates to internal financial management tracking tools (e.g. EPM, Carpe Diem).
• Manage reporting and tracking for resource utilization.
• Exercise discretion in managing correspondence and information, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Act as central point of communication for core team members, management, business partners and other stakeholders on program, organization and platform issues.

The incumbent will be responsible for conducting a POC with a small number of vendors, and then implementing an "end-to-end" or application transaction monitoring solution within our existing IBM Tivoli environment. This project includes updating existing processes, defining new processes to monitor applications, creating a communication plan and considering organizational implications.
The project manager is not intended to be a monitoring SME but should have experience with these types of solutions to support delivering multi-faceted projects that have many stakeholders. The "business users" are infrastructure experts and application managers/owners but the project success will depend on employing skills found in a more traditional business environment.
The incumbent will need to work through ambiguity. Please ensure candidates are Senior Project Managers with superior communication skills, ability to impact and influence, solid negotiation and 5 plus years of leadership experience.

Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects.
- Experience as a Technical PM managing infrastructure type of projects (i.e., delivery of workstations, voice telecom, data networks, mobile devices, and third party connections).
- Full life cycle development experience.
- Experience with proven project methodology tools.
- PMI or ITIL certification (both preferred)
- Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

Role:
The Quality Assurance Analyst role is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives and coordinate formal quality assurance review with information systems.
They are responsible for the formal quality assurance role in audits/reviews. Implement policies and standards and take into account standards/legislation. They recommend new or replacement policies and/or standards and ensure that a consistently high standard of information systems is maintained as they assess and evaluate current technologies and information systems trends.
This individual will be responsible for various aspects of software application testing, ensuring application is stable and defect free.
Responsibilities:
As part of this team, prime responsibility will be to:
- Lead the design, development, execution and analysis of manual and/or automated tests for functional, system, regression, and performance testing ensuring traceability and coverage.
- Provide input to QA test estimates.
- Prepare test scripts.
- Liaise with QA environment team to schedule test lab, ensure environment configuration is set up correctly, and prepared documentation for same.
- Coordinate test execution.
- Develop, document, and maintain test deliverables (test requirements, test strategy, test plans, test cases, test procedures, defect logs, status reports, and test result summaries).
- Meet with business partners and project manager for sign off on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, etc.).
- Work with all QA team members to accomplish shared goals. Work with project team members to resolve quality issues.
- Mentor other team members on test and quality processes.
Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Financial services experience is a must, preferably in Payments
- Mercury Testing Tools
- QC Expertise
- QC automated test scripts.
- QC Defect tracking / Defect Management experience
- QC experience as test management tool
- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Understanding of host systems
- Project/Testing Coordination experience
- MS Project

Scope of Work/Description:
Working as a Project Manager, you will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and budget. • Performs risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to the Executive and / or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions/support.
• Manages the acquisition and deployment of resources, including budget, by working with the Project Managers to secure the resources required for the project.
• Ensures client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise.
• The successful candidate will be required to work with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers. Full life cycle development experience. Experience with proven project methodology tools. PMI or ITIL certification. Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint.

Our client has a requirement for Project Manager for a 6 contract opportunity. The positions are located in Mississauga.
Requirement or Qualifications:
Our client is looking for 2 strong Project Managers – to be qualified for this position you will have.
• Banking/Credit card experience as an IT Project Manager (preference will be given to candidates with recent experience)
• Management of mid size (500K to 1m) projects
• Candidate must have extremely strong communication (written & verbal) skills.
• Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects
• Must have extensive experience with MS Project and Excel
• Autonomous – able to work on their own to gather information and get the job done
• Understanding of distributed systems environment (WAS, Java) and Host
Qualified Candidates will have:
• Managed the day to day development and support activities of 1 or more projects at a time
• Works independently
• Creation of detailed project plans as required including delivery of the applicable SDLC and PMLC documents.
• Work with the delivery and support teams to deliver solutions to the business partner and meet the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
• Provide effective and timely communications to the business partner, key stakeholders and the project team.
• Status reporting, project change control, continual risk/issue assessment/ management, and escalation/resolution are essential.
• Collaborate with the management team to manage the overall project portfolio and challenges facing the team and participate in the development of strategy to address gaps.
• Manage a team that consists of IT specialists and 2 to 3 developers for each project.
• Management of small to large projects (ranging in size from $500K to $2M), including multiple internal applications and external vendors.
• Estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, budget, risk and resources.
• Accountability for project budget and time lines. SKILLS: Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT projects. Full life cycle development experience. Experience with proven project methodology tools. PMI or ITIL certification. Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint.

Our GTA client is looking for 2 Project Managers for 12 month contracts located in Toronto.
Responsibilities include
Managing the implementation activities associated with large IT projects such as data conversion and database loading.
Mandatory Skills
•10-20 years of experience in management roles for large, complex IT projects with significant application development components.
•Minimum of 10 years with responsibility for staffing, budgeting, scheduling and monitoring multiple interdependent projects.
•Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and mainatenance of applications.
•Experience in the use of enterprise-level project management software.
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
•A team player with a track record for meeting strict deadlines.
Desired Skills
•Knowledge of and experience with the policies and procedures of the Ontario Government with respect to IT. (eg, business case development, project approvals, systems development, RFP processes)
•Knowledge of and or experience in the healthcare sector.
•Knowledge of specific government Ministry applications or specific lines of business.
•PMP Certification
