Job Description
Our client has a requirement for an Image Build Engineer for a six month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.
Role
The Image Build Engineer is responsible for building and deploying custom desktop images for the organization on their desktops across the enterprise as well as a new Windows 7 image. They will also be responsible for trouble shooting image related issues. The Image Builder will use a variety of tools to create, test and deploy the Image to the various desktop environments.
Responsibilities
This individual must follow established Image build process and procedures.
•Build and deployment Services
•System Optimization and assessment
•Support and Maintenance
•Software Packaging, Distribution, Image Management
•Package Testing
•Hardware / Software Standards evaluations
•Script Support
•Solution development related to desktop
•Image Build support -- possibility of on call
Requirements or Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience in Image builds and Image deployment. The individual must have previous experience using SCCM OSD, MDT/Windows AIK knowledge, Winbatch and Visual Basic scripting would be an asset.
Qualified Candidates will have:
•5 yrs of SCCM 2007 OSD knowledge
•5 yrs of MDT/Windows AIK knowledge (3-4)
•5 yrs of Windows XP and Windows 7 (32 bit and 64 bit)
•5 yrs of Windows XP and Windows 7 troubleshooting
•Microsoft Visual Basic and WinBatch Scripting
•Understanding of automation techniques, i.e. Scripts and scheduling, checks and balances
•Troubleshooting/ Problem Determination
•Strong documentation and analysis skills.
•Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
•Familiarity with the CLIENT workstation technical environment.
•Past experience delivering requirements within tight time constraints
•Experience with Novel/ZENworks , Tivoli
•SCCM/OSD (MS Distribution Tool)
•Understanding of change management

About the Job
Our client has a requirement for Software Distribution Analyst for a 13 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in London, Ontario.
Requirement or Qualifications:
We are currently seeking 3 Contractors for Software Distribution for a one year contract, these individuals will have experience scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on software distribution activities using SCCM, with other industry standard software distribution tools such as Tivoli. Zen SMS, would be an asset. This is not an infrastructure support or development role, this role is operational usage of the SCCM Software Distribution tool through daily task execution. The desktop team is responsible for supporting 3 of the Desktop Infrastructures at our client.
The team provides the following services:
Overview of responsibilities:
The Software Distribution Analyst is responsible for executing the tests required to automatically update endpoint software electronically for an end-user or device. The electronic update can be enterprise wide request or a single IMAC request. The software Distribution Analyst uses a variety of Tools to perform the electronic software updates and also must perform detailed problem determination in order to repair and rerun any failed electronic updates. This individual must also produce detailed reports on the results of the job’s execution

•3rd Level problem support
