Our GTA client is looking for 2 Project Managers for 12 month contracts located in Toronto.


Responsibilities include

Managing the implementation activities associated with large IT projects such as data conversion and database loading.


Mandatory Skills

•10-20 years of experience in management roles for large, complex IT projects with significant application development components.
•Minimum of 10 years with responsibility for staffing, budgeting, scheduling and monitoring multiple interdependent projects.
•Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and mainatenance of applications.
•Experience in the use of enterprise-level project management software.
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
•A team player with a track record for meeting strict deadlines.


Desired Skills

•Knowledge of and experience with the policies and procedures of the Ontario Government with respect to IT. (eg, business case development, project approvals, systems development, RFP processes)
•Knowledge of and or experience in the healthcare sector.
•Knowledge of specific government Ministry applications or specific lines of business.
•PMP Certification
•Environment/Platform Specific Technical skills.
•MS Project, MS Office

Our client has a requirement for Systems Administration Specialist / Level 1 for a 6 months Contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, Ontario


Job Description

Scope of Services and Deliverables - The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:


Deliverables

The tasks in this role will include, but not be limited to:

•Responsible for deployments of network and network security solutions
•Responsible for network security solution design, implementation and on-going support
•Responsible for analysis of network health, availability, and performance for all networks
•Responsible for all Secure Remote Access solutions (solution design, implementation and on-going support)
•Responsible for maintaining Production, Pre-Production, Training, and related testing environments
•Maintain deployment guides and supporting documentation such as run books, build books and network diagrams
•Ensure that Personal Information (PI) and Personal Health Information (PHI) and other sensitive data in networked software applications is properly secured as per privacy and security policy
•Provide after-hours and on-call support and implementation, as required
•Regularly work with software/hardware vendors
•Implement, maintain and support the network hardware (appliance or server) environment, and related infrastructure, as required
•Provide support to System Administrators with respect to server builds and configuration.
•Provide support to System Administrators with respect to application setup and configuration.


Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•University Degree or relevant certification in this area or equivalent industry experience.
•Knowledge and experience building, maintaining and supporting a Check Point FW-1, VPN-1, and Connectra solution/environment
•Knowledge and experience building, maintaining and supporting Citrix Netscaler
•Knowledge and experience building, maintaining and supporting Cisco switching and routing solution/environment
•Knowledge and experience building, maintaining and supporting McAfee security solutions (AV, HIPS)
•Knowledge and experience building, maintaining and supporting an RSA Security Console (token-based PKI) security solution
•Knowledge and experience with implementing, maintaining and supporting medium/large scale network-health & availability monitoring solutions
•Knowledge and experience implementing, maintaining and supporting a robust and scalable network-related patch management strategy across multiple environments
•Knowledge and experience building, maintaining and supporting a Windows Server Environment
•Experience with Citrix Xenapp
•Experience in high paced, multi-task, multi-application support environments.
•Experience working in environments meeting aggressive SLA.
•Good understanding of Change Management process.
•Experience with cross functional team support in an operations and/or infrastructure group.
•Experience with business groups and application support.
•Experience in the healthcare environment particularly business systems.
•Operations experience in a technical health care environment

•After-hours and On-call support availability is required
•After-hours implementation availability is required
•Ability to handle various priorities and deliver on time

•The role requires on-call support


TECHNICAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

•3 Years minimum hands on experience building, maintaining and supporting a Check Point FW-1, VPN-1 environment

General Responsibilities

•As part of the Project Office and under the supervision a PM, assist with project planning, tracking and control.

•Assist clients in the identification of Timelines, milestones and project deliverables.
•Identify and escalates incompatibilities and inconsistencies with respect to project plan dependencies.

Mandatory Skills

•5-10 years experience in Senior Project Coordinator roles in complex, medium and large IT projects.
•Coordination of multiple project plans.
•Create updates and maintains project schedules.

•Develop and maintain an electronic source for all business/technology documents related to initiatives.
•Set up and maintain a project Library.

Our client has a requirement for a Sharepoint Administrator for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.


Requirement or Qualifications:

As a Technical Specialist on the Enterprise Collaboration Services Team, you will leverage your strong technical and interpersonal skills to support a growing Sharepoint infrastructure. You will be involved in providing Sharepoint infrastructure support for key applications, as well as day-to-day support for the Sharepoint infrastructure, and provisioning team sites and associated end user support on an as-needed basis.


Qualified Candidates will have:


Role Summary:


Specific duties & responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Daily Administration of MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010 environments, including tasks for :

•configure, deploy and maintain multiple server farms
•troubleshoot and monitor performance
•develop and maintain backup/restore/disaster recovery process
•implement and test hotfixes/upgrades
•design and implement improvements (ie: cost savings, performance)
•identify trends
•capacity planning
•incident/problem resolution to support pre-defined application and environment SLAs
•3rd level support for Sharepoint environments
•flexible after hours support


Interaction with user community for the following:

•deploy template applications for collaborative teams (ie: team sites, project sites)

REQUIREMENTS:

•Minimum of four years experience in SharePoint/ MOSS environments
•Strong working knowledge of Wintel platforms and supporting infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Symantec security products, SQL server)
•MSCE certification or related experience
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Experience in providing 2nd line support
•Work well in a team environment
•Strong understanding of information security and its role in a production environment
•Experience with patch management (O/S, application, anti-virus signatures) in a production environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a balance of priorities
•2-3 years of IT experience
•Must have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and WINS
•Research, test, document and implement new technology

Job Description
The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:


Deliverables

•Gather and define business processes and requirements in order to further evolve OHRS/MIS standards
•Recommend solutions to accounting and finance issues related to OHRS/MIS standards
•Advise & develop OHRS/MIS training related to OHRS/MIS standard changes & updates
•Develop indicators and benchmark across sectors
•Data Quality analysis and issue identification and resolutions

•Provide support to the CHC sector
•Provide input to the project on CHC business direction and reporting requirements
