Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Infrastructure Analyst for 6 months renewable contract opportunity.  The position is located in Calgary.

This position is responsible for providing daily operational server support, server configuration, and troubleshooting to achieve service levels on both MS Windows and Oracle Solaris servers.  This would include adhering to standards on change management, incident management, problem management, and release management.  Operational support for the server infrastructure is during and after normal business hours. Duties may include on call rotation and call out, and support when needed.

• HP Server hardware skills in analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization

• MS Windows 2003 and 2008 skills in analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization
• Knowledge of Sun (Oracle) 8 and 10 skills in analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization
• Demonstrated partnership, teamwork, and communication skills with a customer focus

Our client has a requirement for a Sharepoint Administrator for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.


Requirement or Qualifications:

As a Technical Specialist on the Enterprise Collaboration Services Team, you will leverage your strong technical and interpersonal skills to support a growing Sharepoint infrastructure. You will be involved in providing Sharepoint infrastructure support for key applications, as well as day-to-day support for the Sharepoint infrastructure, and provisioning team sites and associated end user support on an as-needed basis.


Qualified Candidates will have:


Role Summary:


Specific duties & responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Daily Administration of MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2010 environments, including tasks for :

•configure, deploy and maintain multiple server farms
•troubleshoot and monitor performance
•develop and maintain backup/restore/disaster recovery process
•implement and test hotfixes/upgrades
•design and implement improvements (ie: cost savings, performance)
•identify trends
•capacity planning
•incident/problem resolution to support pre-defined application and environment SLAs
•3rd level support for Sharepoint environments
•flexible after hours support


Interaction with user community for the following:

•deploy template applications for collaborative teams (ie: team sites, project sites)
•Sharepoint functionality, including product demos
•Site Administrator escalations
•Sharepoint capabilities
•usage reporting
•training recommendations
•Involvement with ongoing projects to implement new Sharepoint custom applications
•provide SME consulting with project resources, make recommendations
•review and approve infrastructure and application design documents
•implement, test, deploy project environments according to established best practices
•document deployments and train 1st and 2nd level support teams
•Other duties as assigned by Team Lead or Manager


REQUIREMENTS:

•Minimum of four years experience in SharePoint/ MOSS environments
•Strong working knowledge of Wintel platforms and supporting infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Symantec security products, SQL server)
•MSCE certification or related experience
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Experience in providing 2nd line support
•Work well in a team environment
•Strong understanding of information security and its role in a production environment
•Experience with patch management (O/S, application, anti-virus signatures) in a production environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a balance of priorities
•2-3 years of IT experience
•Must have a working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and WINS
•Research, test, document and implement new technology


Mandatory Skills:

•MOSS 2007 or SharePoint 2010
•Windows 2003/2008 Operating System
•Knowledge of Active Directory in a production environment
•Knowledge of Symantec security products
•Knowledge of SQL server
•Excellent problem solving skills


Experience with the following is an asset:

•VMware

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Project Lead Technical Level 2 for a 6 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, Ontario.

Scope of Services and Deliverables - The services and deliverables to be provided by and will include the following:


Deliverables

•Leadership of all aspects of the integrated assessment record (IAR) technical infrastructure team including technical implementations, application support, environment support and interaction with the Health Information Network Providers.
•Work collaboratively with the IAR development, QA and privacy and security teams
•Manage technology relationship with outsourced application hosting vendors, development partner and/or technology vendor(s)
•Participate in any technology RFP or vendor selection processes
•Ensure alignment of IAR technology with CCIM process and policies
•Work with business and architect to ensure IAR application will meet business requirements, both functional and non-functional
•Develop and execute strategies to support a province wide rollout of the IAR from a technology perspective
•Manage new deployments and upgrades of the IAR
•Manage the complete life cycle of the IAR - maintenance, monitoring and patching in accordance with CCIM policy and procedure
•Support the transition of the management of IAR deployments to the respective HINP including training, policy development and documentation
•Manage the creation of supporting documentation including build books, run books, deployment guides and other operations processes as required.
•Create and manage project timelines to meet business and project goals.
•Manage the development and/or configuration of the IAR to accept new assessment types.


Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•A minimum of 5 years work experience with integration technologies such as XML, ETL, SOAP, SFTP
•Hands-on experience with JAVA Application Servers
•Hands-on experience with Portals
•Hands-on experience with Identity Management
•Hands-on experience with Windows Server
•Experience with application development including coding, architecture and design.
•Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and meet project goals and timelines
•A successful track record ensuring the business needs of clients is met.
•Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deliverables and work independently
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Minimum Computer or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
