Our client has a requirement for NOC Support Analyst – Level 2 for a 1 year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Winnipeg.

Responsibilities:
As part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) for a cloud-based service Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE)/Office 365 (O365), you will be responsible for 24x7x365 Tier 1 operations support as well as incident handling and escalations. The NOC monitors approximately 3000 servers/assets spanning multiple datacenters and time zones.

As part of the operations team, any escalations will come through from Tier 3 customer support, or through partners. There is no interaction with customers directly.

Within Securities Technology Solutions, the FX Electronic trading team is responsible for delivering and maintaining the implementation of electronic trading systems for the key stakeholders (front office). The team is responsible for the development of fixes and enhancements to the FX electronic trading systems.

The contract developer, reports to the Senior Manager, FX Electronic Trading Team. The position works closely with other team members, and internal source system contacts.

The incumbent is required to have strong technical, oral and written communications skills. The incumbent must be very well organised. A good knowledge of capital markets products and Foreign Exchange is an asset. Familiarity with existing bank systems is an asset.

Our client has a requirement for Operational Tester / IT Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Missisauga, Ontario. 
 
Requirement or Qualifications:
 
We are looking for a strong Operational Tester/ IT Analyst.

Candidates must have a STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF INFRASTRUCTURE CONNECTIVITY TESTING along with the following requirements. 

       Experience in providing IT/ QA Analysis and testing for Distributed Enterprise Systems on Windows 2003/2008 - 3+ yrs 

       Experience with Production Acceptance Testing environment (PAT) 2 +yrs 

       Strong documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, Change Requests) 2 +yrs 

       Strong UNIX/LINUX - 3 + yrs relevant experience, must be comfortable working within this environment 

       Experience with Managing/ logging incidents, able to route / direct calls to appropriate group-2+ yrs 

       Superior presentation skills, able to speak in front of stakeholders, present business cases 

       Able to negotiate with various groups within technology/ engineering 

       Have a strong understanding of deployment times/ strategies 

       Understand Smoke-tests 

       Deploying Applications ion Websphere - 1+ yrs 

       Ability to read Blue Prints 

       Experience with implementation of applications- 2 +yrs 

       Experience with server side Operability testing (implementation of mission critical application into production) 

       Strong knowledge of SDLC- from conception to maintenance phases 

       Solid understanding of QA Methodology 

       Understanding of Web and Applications Services IIS, WebSphere, WebSphere Portal, Apache, 


Suitable candidates must include responses to the following Questions while submitting their resume: 
1.     Elaborate on your experience with application testing/ deployment
2.     Elaborate on your experience with other engineering teams (what were your core responsibilities ) 
3.     What experience do you have working with applications that exist in multi-environment configurations?
