Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for NOC Support Analyst – Level 2 for a 1 year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Winnipeg.

Responsibilities:
As part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) for a cloud-based service Forefront Online Protection for Exchange (FOPE)/Office 365 (O365), you will be responsible for 24x7x365 Tier 1 operations support as well as incident handling and escalations. The NOC monitors approximately 3000 servers/assets spanning multiple datacenters and time zones.

As part of the operations team, any escalations will come through from Tier 3 customer support, or through partners. There is no interaction with customers directly.

Requirement or Qualifications:

-Service monitoring experience is a definite plus.
-Linux experience (base)
-Windows Server (base)
-Exchange
-Active Directory
-MySQL/MSSQL
-Postfix
-DNS
-SMTP
-Windows PowerShell
-Perl
-Bash (awk/grep/sed)
-Deductive Reasoning/Troubleshooting/Incident Management
-Network operations experience with any large scale organization is a huge plus
-Microsoft Certification, Degree in Computer Science, or a combination of experience plus education required.

The role will be extensively developing business rules in the SAP Claims Management (FS-CM) application using the BRF+ workbench- ABAP and ABAP Objects skills to implement enhancements to support BRF objects- Debugging and BRF/BRF+ trace - Implementing functions and rule sets for Health Claims business processes would be a plus

• Competency in the preparation of electrical SLD’s, AC/DC schematics, cable schedules and general arrangement drawings, including switch rooms and substation, etc
• Significant experience in supervising personnel performing engineering design and knowledge of the IEC codes and standards

Qualifications:

Engineering Technician / Technologist and/or professional registration with an approved engineering institution

• Competency in performing electrical studies and analysis of power system utilizing engineering software to determine short circuit, load flows and protective relay coordination.
• Significant experience in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, equipment procurement and construction specifications, leadership and supervision of personnel performing engineering designs.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant IEC and IEEE codes and standards

Qualifications:

• B. Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or registration as a professional engineer in an approved Institution
