• At least 3 years of experience in Flex framework
• 4 years of experience in Object Oriented JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS

• Extensive experience using web framework like Spring or Struts.
• Experience in Ant/Maven, Log4J, JUnit, Weblogic Application Server and Eclipse.
• Proven knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and experience in application development using the Adobe Flex frameworks .i.e., Cairngorm,  PureMVC,SWIZ etc.
• Good knowledge in BlazeDS and\or Granite DS and Flex Builder 3.
• Experience with cloud computing (Amazon and other cloud computing tools) is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge in HttpServices, Remoting and Web services.
• Knowledge of Optimization and Modularization of Flex Application.
• Development of Custom Components in Flex.
• Experience with AJAX, JSON and Web 2.0 technologies
• Competency in JavaScript and HTML. (Integration of Flex with JavaScript i.e., External Interface API etc.)
• Experience working on portals, dashboards and large scale intranet applications
• Ability to work well with others and multitask

Job Description

Our GTA client has a requirement for a Middleware Administrator for a 6 months contract located in Toronto.

The successful candidate must have:

• Experience implementing Manhattan WMOS.
• Experience implementing Manhattan SCI, LM, Slotting.

 The application administrator provides project delivery and ongoing support for 3rd party packaged software. Working closely with the project development group the application administrator ensures the seamless implementation of vendor packaged software into production through established best practices and custom configuration that meets clients' requirements. After project completion the application administrator ensures optimal day to day execution.

 The application administrator reports into the Technology Application Support team. The Technology Application Support team's focus is to ensure the smooth operation of 3rd party software and in-house developed applications. The business focus includes all corporate systems (examples: supply chain, marketing, finance, real estate, treasury, petroleum) and systems at the retail level (associate stores, gas bars, Partsource).

 Specific role accountabilities:

• Tangible outcomes
• Planning and installing applications and their patches into Client’s environments
• The stable implementation of 3rd party packaged software that meets both clients’ requirements and meets or exceeds established SLAs.
• Planning and managing upgrades, infrastructure changes, and/or application initiated changes

• College or University education in Computer Science or Business or Mathematics

• Experience in AIX or UNIX system administration (3+ years)
• Experience in UNIX shell scripting  (AIX version 4.3 and up is preferred)
• Experience in supporting applications in UNIX and Wintel environments

Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Programmer Analyst Level 2 for a long term contract opportunity.  The position is located in Ottawa.

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Requirements analysis, web design, and web application development  experience.  Ideal experience required  8 yrs, Minimum: 5 Years
• Experience  developing web apps with (J2EE v1.4 or greater) Minimum experience required: 5yrs
• Experience developing web apps, using a data base (Oracle 9.x or greater or SQL.)  Minimum 4yrs
• Experience developing web apps using an app dev'T framework such as Spring or Struts (4yrs) There are others such as JSF, Tapestry and Wicket that may also fit the bill.
• Experience developing apps using a Java GUI library such as Swing (1yr) - Experience using Tomcat/SWT would be acceptable.
• Experience developing web apps, using App Servers such as Websphere; WebLogic or JBoss ( 4yrs)
• Experience developing web apps, using an eclipse based IDE such as MyEclipse, Eclipse or WSAD (4yrs)
• Experience developing web apps with UML (1yr)
• Experience developing web apps with JSP, XML and HTML (1yr)
• Experience developing web apps using automated testing frameworks (1yr) - JUnit, DBUnit, Selenium, for example
• Experience developing web apps, using automated build systems such as Maven (2yrs) ANT would be acceptable
• Must have recent (within the last 5 years) experience with Verity (minimum 1 year experience).
