Job Description:Our client has a requirement for Business Analyst / Level 1 for a 6-month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Toronto.

Deliverables  

• Gathers and defines business processes and requirements in order to further evolve OHRS/MIS standards
• Site visits to assist homes with mapping from current COA to OHRS, ensuring compliance
• Assists in the development of OHRS/MIS training modules related to standard changes and updates
• Provides data quality analysis to identify issues and improve data quality
• Analyzes data submissions & recommends improvements related to OHRS/MIS standards
• Assists Business Lead in all aspects of the development and maintenance of the OHRS/MIS Financial standards for the LTCH sector as required
• Provides support to the LTCH sector
• Provides input to the project on LTCH business direction and reporting requirement

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience in Ontario healthcare with preference given to experience in the community care sector
• Experience working with OHRS/MIS standards with preference given to experience in the LTCH sector
• Experience in financial and business analysis
• Formal accounting education
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Superior organization and follow-up skills in a high-volume environment
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in use of MS Excel (must have) and MS Access (preferably)
• Proficient with different methods of requirements gathering such as interviewing, data modeling and business process modeling.

• Knowledge of Network and Desktop management tools such as Open Manage, Netflow, and Microsoft SMS
• Knowledge of UPS and power supplies – monitoring and configuring for best performance
• Capable of writing proposals or paper, acting as a vendor liaison, marking presentations to customers or client audiences or professional peers, and working closely with upper management.
• A solid understanding of Windows Networks; understands paging and swapping, inter-process communications, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts (inode, clustering, logical partitions), can use performance analysis to tune systems
• A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing, client/server programming, and the design of consistent network-wide file system layouts

Nice to have:

• Citrix certified
• VMware Certified

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a Technical Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Mississauga.

Role:

This candidate would need to travel occasionally to London, Ontario and Montreal. Bilingual candidates with PMP would be given preference first.

The Delivery Excellence Group will be implementing a standard process for managers to plan out projects. They will be introducing an Excel based estimation tool to ensure that managers complete their due diligence regarding project planning.

Within the Delivery Excellence Program: The Enterprise Estimation Tool Implementation Lead will be responsible for moving to a risk focused standard enterprise estimation process and tool for technology project & solutions delivery and work closely with the Methodology & Tools Lead to implement governance to track/foster adherence as well as establish the required support framework. Program areas include: SDLC/PMLC standards and adherence, Requirements Analysis, Risk and Issues Management, Governance and Gating, Project Management Skills and Capabilities, along with Performance Measurement and reporting.

It will be the Lead’s accountability to ensure that the output of the work-stream be aligned with the overall mission and vision of the Delivery Excellence Program.

Other accountabilities include: - develop and track Stream Project Plan, ensuring deliverables are met on time and budgets are managed accordingly
- provide timely updates and reporting to the Delivery Excellence Program Manager and the Methodology & Tools Lead
- participate as Core Team member of the Delivery Excellence Advisory Committee
- Provide input for the coordination and delivery of communications, training and for organizational change management

Requirement or Qualifications:

Top Must Have Skills include: - High level of proficiency using MS Office PC software and in particular advanced level in Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint
- comprehensive knowledge of PMLC and SDLC processes with at least 7 years related experience
- able to document in SharePoint
- PMP designation
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred

Nice to have: - strong bilingual communication skills - Executive presentations
- strong relationship skills
- coordination and planning

Ideal candidate would have the following: - Previous experience with regards to planning, coordinating, deployment and training would be the ideal profile. This is a customized tool – so any previous experience with customized roll outs or having worked closely with a design team would be preferred.

- Able to work independently as well as with the team
- Able to hit the ground running
