Our client has a requirement for a Solutions Architect for a 6 month contract (with chance of full time employment after) opportunity. The position is located in London, ON.
Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
•Must have 4-5 years of practical Architecture experience, someone that is big-picture thinker with strong technical writing skills
•Ideally a pragmatic, salesperson personality
•Must be able to hit the ground running
•Understanding of guidelines and Framework is important (TOGAF / Zachman is an asset)
•Roadmapping
•Must come from an Enterprise-level environment
•Must have some Application Services experience
•Must be able to present to stakeholders, business partners and internal clients
•Must be dynamic, pragmatic, collaborative
•Superior communication skills
•Strong understanding of both PMLC and SDLC
•Must have a strong understanding of Enterprise Governance
•Must have had experience having worked on large scale projects
•Self Starter that is able to ask a lot of questions
NICE TO HAVES:

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure and Technology for a six month contract opportunity. The position can be located in either London,ON or Toronto ON.
Role
Our Technology & Network Services is an organizational group within ITS which manages key components of our organization's technology infrastructure (desktop services, email, Instant Messaging, Web Conferencing and Social Mediated Services, and Remote Access). We are responsible for defining and evolving the strategy and the roadmap for each of these services including the overall accountability for the pricing and recovery of the services. While not performing the engineering, architecture and operations functions, the team has overall accountability for the direction, quality of service and performance of the product. We work in conjunction with these groups or any external vendor to ensure all key operating metrics are performed as described. We ensure a plan exists to deliver consistent service to all of our employees.
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to work within the Workspace Service Delivery (WSD) Team, who would be responsible for delivering complex workspace components for Technology projects. The candidate will have strong working relationships with Delivery teams, vendors, and/or Project Managers for the projects to which she/he is assigned. The position requires a self-starter with strong leadership qualities, and proven experience delivering complex technology projects.
Responsibilities
The specific responsibilities include:
•Accountable for the project management process and deliverables for multiple projects
•Ensures 100% compliance to the organization’s project management methodology by ensuring that recognized project management processes, discipline and controls are consistently applied and adhered to for assigned projects
•Identifies all project dependencies and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed
•Ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks
•Executes project management deliverables within budget and as per the approved project plan, working with business partners to develop the content of those deliverables
•Controls change to project scope through accepted change management processes and documentation
•Investigates, escalates and ensures that all project issues are effectively resolved
•Provides advice and guidance to business partners as required regarding best practices in project management
•Develops an understanding of the technical/business aspects of the project in order to effectively manage the project and resources
•May be expected to initiate and manage contracts for products or services
•Provides project reporting, and status and issues requiring attention to senior management
•Demonstrates strong communications skills (written & verbal), proven ability to effectively interact with individuals across business units and at various levels within the organization (technical, business, including Senior & Executive Management).

Qualified Candidates will have:

Job Description
The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:
Deliverables
•Provide one-on-one telephone support to HSPs (health service providers) throughout their implementation
•Debrief with regional implementation leads and education specialists on implementation progress as appropriate
•Organize and facilitate group teleconferences with coordinators and trainers as part of their implementation
Support implementation by:
•Contributing to assignment of levels of support
•Participating in regular meetings
•Monitoring and tracking completion of implementation milestones and preparing appropriate reports
•Responding to Support Centre queries and documenting resolution
•Follow up with HSPs to facilitate workshop enrolment
•Tracks HSP milestones and training
•Updates milestones database and maintains implementation documents
•Provide subject matter expertise to the Support Centre as required
•Act as back-up contact person for HSPs during times of absence of education specialists (vacations/training), when appropriate
•Attend and provide assistance to training sessions, as required
•Assist with the orientation of secondees and other new staff e.g. checking coding assignments
•Follow the regional implementation model and adhere to regional and core processes
•Maintaining and updating implementation status and information in appropriate systems
Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Adult teaching experience (this position will not be presenting to a large audience, but will be providing coaching to coordinators at HSPs, feedback on assignments, and interpretation of training materials)
•Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
•Organized and detail oriented
•Good analytical skills with ability to problem solve
•Superior communication skills (written and verbal – including phone skills)
•Experience facilitating small groups, using virtual mechanisms e.g. WebEx
•Experience working within a team environment

Systems Integration Specialist
Job Description
Our client has requirement for multiple Systems Integrators for permanent fulltime role. The positions are located in London, Ontario
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Systems Integration team is responsible for integrating our client and server components into a state-of-the-art network and digital cable environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integrate our software with complex 3rd party vendor solutions (VOD, PVR, IPTV)
•Actively work with our development and support teams to troubleshoot software issues
•Create and execute integration test cases to validate system requirements
•Carry out client/server performance analysis and capacity planning
•Determine optimal software/hardware configurations for product releases

Scope of Services and Deliverables - The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:
Deliverables
•Matrix reporting to the Project Managers for MIS projects, this opportunity requires supervising Business Systems MIS trainers/instructors within the overall policies and procedures of the unit.
•Works collaboratively in a team structure, with Subject Matter Experts, and other development staff, while demonstrating capability to work independently in carrying out areas of responsibility.
•May provide guidance and supervision to assistant Program Leaders across the CCIM program.
•The Leader is responsible for the overall planning, development, and administration of one or more training teams and related educational offerings.
•The Leader works collaboratively within the Technology, Project Management and Leadership teams to promote excellence in the delivery of courses and quality of instruction in the areas of Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards, Management Information Systems for financial and statistical software application (Microsoft Dynamics GP) within the Healthcare Sector.

•Ensures that processes and procedures are in place for appropriate project management record keeping.
•Assumes ultimate responsibility for accuracy of educational documentation and session records.

Qualifications
•2 + years of Project leadership with demonstrated supervisory experience in one or more of the following areas:
◦Multi-organization projects with multiple stakeholders.
◦Establishment and/or management of information resource management functions in large or medium organizations.
◦Demonstrated effective project management; proven ability to meet project timelines with strong organizational skills
◦Managing the implementation activities associated with large projects within the healthcare industry.
◦Experience in projects aimed at training and implementing Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards and/or MIS compliant standards
◦Demonstrated success in leading teams in healthcare projects.
◦Highly knowledgeable about the practice of adult education, continuing education in general and especially administrative processes and strategies.

Intermediate Operations Support Specialist

Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Operations Support Specialist for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in London.
Role:
The newly formed Technology Solutions organization is accountable for end-to-end delivery of projects, Enterprise wide. The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for the following:
•Act as the equipment and technology expert for the organization, providing daily support to resolve issues experienced by members of the Technology Solutions team
•Coordinate the delivery, implementation and repairs of equipment and technology
•Process system access requests for new hires, employee transfers and terminations
•Complete monthly and quarterly access reviews, and ensure access is Audit compliant
•Actively participate in small to medium organization projects, including but not limited to, contributing to project meetings, installation of new technology, and coordination of equipment and or resource relocation
•Continuously maintain and update internal databases for equipment, data port table, etc with 100% accuracy
•Act as the expert for the division, supporting multiple phone services at various locations within the division, including conference lines and blackberries
•Coordinate the timely provision of developer tools to members of the TS team, including but not limited to RAD, SSH, SOA, MKS, software licenses
•Coordinate updates to org charts, distribution lists, BCM, floor plans, etc with 100% accuracy
•Maintain Carpe Timekeeper for all resources in TS
•Actively participate in various support tasks such as ordering supplies, entering timesheets, filing expenses
•Participate in the preparation of various reports for TS leaders
•Continuously engage the members of TS to provide training, orientation, guidance with a focus on excellent customer service

Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for two Windows Application Packagers for a 12 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in London, ON.
This is for Software packaging to be deployed in a large enterprise environment. The individual will be part of the desktop team- which is responsible for supporting the Desktop Infrastructures of approximately 42,000 desktops.
Overview of Responsibilities:
The Application Packager is responsible for building and customizing software application packages which are to be deployed seamlessly to the various desktops architectures with varying software distribution methodology.
The packager will use a variety of Tools to create, wrap, test and deploy the application packages. This individual must follow established packaging process and procedures.
Packaging application support is 9 – 5 with the possibility of on call
Requirement or Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have:
The successful candidates will have experience in application packaging using Install Shield, APP-V, Novell Zen, SCCM, VMware, WinBatch and Visual Basic scripting.
•Installation and deployment Services
•System Optimization and assessment
•Support and Maintenance
•Software Packaging, Distribution, Image Management
•Package Testing
•Hardware / Software Standards evaluations
•Script Support
•Solution development related to desktop
MUST HAVES:
(These must be corroborated in your resume):
•5 yrs-Experience with Install Shield with virtualization
•5 yrs- Admin Studio
•5 yrs- Windows XP and Windows 7 (32 bit and 64 bit)
•Microsoft Visual Basic and WinBatch Scripting
•Testing
•Change Management
•Understanding of automation techniques, i.e. Scripts and scheduling, checks and balances
•Troubleshooting/ Problem Determination
•Strong documentation and analysis skills.
•Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
•Familiarity with Remedy (preferred) and/or other Ticketing Tools
•Familiarity with the CLIENT workstation- technical environment.
•Past experience delivering requirements within tight time constraints
NICE TO HAVES:
•Experience with Novel/ZENworks
•Experience with APP-V Sequencer
•SCCM/OSD (MS Distribution Tool)
•Understanding of Change Management
