Our client has a requirement for Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in London Ontario
Requirements or Qualifications
- Required to understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis Under the direction of a SR.BA, develop, maintain, debug and test document components and parameters
- Gain experience of more than one language/development tool
- Manage installation and upgrades
- Participate in implementation state of large systems and projects
- Develop and implement strategies for back up and recovery of data
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of software generated by staff
- Formulates systems to parallel strategies
- The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners to define and test business and technical requirements
- Working on small projects under a senior Business Systems Analyst, define, document and translate high level business requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input to project documents
- Support system implementation and production readiness by liaising with technology teams and the business partners
- Develop test cases, perform testing and provide user documentation and post implementation support
- Comply with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and testing methodologies
- Support other team members to achieve business objectives.
SKILLS:
- Previous application development experience and a sound knowledge of business unit requirements (financials - spreadsheets - calculations etc.)
Qualified Candidates will have:
•3-5 yrs of experience in analyzing & querying complex data using Access, SQL Server & Excel
•Application development
•Business Analysis Experience
•Experience with HP Quality Centre
•Host experience
•Microsoft Office
•PMLC (Project Management Life Cycle)
•Relationship Management

- Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other technology teams within organization to solve problems and deliver solutions
- Understand, document and interpret complex user requirements.
- The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners, other Technology Solutions organizations and external vendors to define the business and technical requirements at the program level
- Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time line estimates, scope and control
- Develop use cases, defining and documenting user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with east system function
- Ensure Business Recovery Plans are in place
- Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability
- Establish appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementation
- Define, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics
- Assist in the development of conversion and implementation strategies
- Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements
- Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and desktop standards, and the business

- Provide user documentation, user training, and post implementation support
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed of project status and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.

Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for a Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.
Role:
Required to understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis, undertake QA testing and help streamline existing processes to improve efficiency. Prepare data mapping and perform testing of applications. Develop in depth knowledge of applications and their interdependences. Analyze and manipulate large data sets. Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other technology teams within organization to solve problems and deliver solutions. Understand, document and interpret complex user requirements.
The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners, other Technology Solutions organizations and external vendors to define the business and technical requirements at the program level.
Requirement or Qualifications:
• Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time line estimates, scope and control.
• Develop use cases, defining and documenting user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with east system function.
• Ensure Business Recovery Plans are in place.
• Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability.
• Establish appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementation.
• Define, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics.
• Assist in the development of conversion and implementation strategies. Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements. Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and desktop standards, and the business.
• Develop test plans, test cases, perform testing. Provide user documentation, user training, and post implementation support.
