Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking a Junior Account Manager.  This position will influence revenue across Zylog service lines by gathering new leads, up selling and promoting Zylog products and services.  This includes, but is not limited to the following activities:  Prospecting, Cold Calling, Account Management, Forecasting, Pipeline Management, etc.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Initiate outbound "cold-calls" to generate new and recurring accounts. 
• Gather information to help grow the prospect database, and support the data-gathering phase of the sales process with follow-up calls.
• Understand , explain and negotiate  client contract and ensure non standard client Master Service Agreements are in line with Zylog corporate policies
• Ongoing follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and ongoing business
• Stay current with company products, services, resources, programs, policy and procedures; research information on competitors, industry trends, prospects and customers.
• Develop relationships with senior-level technical and business decision makers to contribute in building sales strategies.
• Contribute to the process of screening resumes to meet client and role specifications.
• Follow up with candidates and clients to receive feedback relating to client and customer satisfaction. 
• Successfully manage and overcome prospect’s objections.
• Assist in the development of RFP’s and RFQ’s for established clients and client prospects

Specific skills and experience required for this position are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Business or a related field preferred.
• Previous Sales, Account Management and Business Development experience in high tech industry preferred.
• 1-2 years sales experience in a call centre environment preferred.
• Exposure to a customer service and IT support atmosphere an asset.
• Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a high paced environment.
• An impeccable ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated complex problem solving skills.
• Dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Role

As a hands-on QA Lead / Test Coordinator, the candidate would be working collaboratively with up to 9 testers and working with different stakeholders with no direct reporting responsibility.

The successful candidate would have to have strong business knowledge in Fixed Income and has Capital Market experience along with extensive testing experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Lead the design, development, execution and analysis of test strategies, plans, defect management and exit strategy plan
• Responsible for UAT project testing effort, reporting and escalation
• Work with different groups (business and operational teams, business /systems analysts, technical leads) to analyze required project documents and lead creation, review and signoff of quality assurance/testing related deliverables (e.g. test strategy, test plans, test scenarios/cases, test reports) for complex multi-interface enterprise application
• Responsible for the effort estimates for assigned work packages
• Works closely with Development and Infrastructure teams to ensure that the test environments are setup and ready for test execution
• Facilitate daily test defect review meetings and coordinate the implementation of defect resolutions across the various processing components/applications
• Responsible for providing project status updates from the QA perspective
• Ensures entry/exit criteria for each test phase is fulfilled and coordinates required signoffs
• Must have very good understanding of end-to-end business acceptance processes
• Strong hands on experience with Test Management tools
• Able to prepare, deliver, and present reports/ results/ findings for management & executive level reports and presentations
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, test processes and methodologies required
• Excellent analytical and problem determination skills
• Have excellent time management, multitasking, task planning and prioritization skills. Should be able to work effectively with minimal supervision & adapt quickly to changing client requirements

Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Strong hands-on management experience with Test Managements tools - i.e., Quality Control, HQC or HQ
• Strong business knowledge in Fixed Income (Securities)
• Working experience with trading systems (e.g. Calypso, Bloomberg, Anvil) is nice to have
• 3-5 years' experience as a QA Lead, developing test strategies and schedules, and 7-10 years in QA testing or software development process
• Must have worked on testing end to end  
• Strong written and oral communication, strong negotiation skills and a team player
• Ability to work with various stakeholders - business and technology team

Role:

• Working with numerous individuals within the client to escalate payment, tools and program related issues

Requirement or Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership and project management skills displayed through previous employment or other experiences
• Ability to work across the organization as contact is made with numerous internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with previous experience in a fast paced work environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and confident in giving presentations to senior management
• Interest in driving change and taking on new challenges
• Excellent technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Access (preferred)
