Job Description

Our client a major financial institution located in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for an Manager-IT Outsourcing for a 12 month contract to provide relationship management pertaining to current and future outsourcing arrangements, coordination of contract development and renewal, and issue management as appropriate.

Duties:

•Manage the development of new sourcing agreements utilizing industry best practices and processes.

•Provide governance over and maintain existing sourcing agreements utilizing industry best practices and processes.

•Support negotiation strategies and participate in the negotiation of sourcing agreements.

•Participate in benchmarking engagements measuring the qualitative and quantitative aspects of sourcer performance.

•Perform repository management of all documentation relative to the internal group processes and sourcing agreements.

•Produce sourcing agreement related reporting to be used both internally and externally for relationship management purposes.

•Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

•Educate and communicate knowledge expertise to internal sourcing agreement clients

•Support issue and escalation management for sourcing agreements.

•Support and participate in regular joint executive sourcing reviews.

Must have skills:

•Experience in managing outsourcing relationships: proven track record relating to successful development, negotiation, and management of large vendor relationships and contracts

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong working knowledge of contracts and agreements.

•Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills, including an ability to foster strong relationships with external parties.

•Strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.

•Post-secondary accreditation in a related field.

Job Description

Our client a well respected auto manufacturer is seeking Bilingual Customer Service Representative (French /English).


Position Summary:

Working in the corporate head office, the Bilingual Customer Service Rep is responsible to work to build and strengthen the relationship with customers by ensuring all customer concerns and inquiries are responded to, resolved in a timely professional and appropriate manner.


Responsibilities:

•Working by telephone, mail or in-person resolving customers concerns.
•Actively listen to the concerns with vehicle owner.
•Prepare and send acknowledgement letters for all written correspondence received.
•Liaise with regional offices, service and parts personnel on any relevant history; research any technical issues, and provide detailed written responses to customers
•Assist in the answering of incoming calls from the 1-800 line, through the main switchboard as well as inquiries received by email


Requirements:

•Completion of university degree or college diploma or equivalent experience
•Minimum one year experience within a phone-based Customer Service role
•Previous automotive industry experience is preferred Computer Skills - MS Word (Intermediate), MS Excel (Intermediate), Oracle (Intermediate)
•Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, in French & English - must have strong grammar and spelling in both languages.
•Ability to conduct business in both languages.
•Excellent relationship-building, analytical and problem solving skills.

Senior Project Control Officer – Financial Services

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Senior Project Control Officer for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.


Role:

This role is for a large financial services company as part on a new integration project. The successful candidate will ensure project control procedures and policies within a program of related projects are executed. Assist in maintaining project schedules. Develop and maintain issue logs. Maintain project repositories of documents. Prepare documents for various recurring meetings including minutes, issue logs etc. Develop presentation documentation as required for project teams. Develop consolidate program status reports.

We require a project coordinator whose primary focus will be on providing financial management and analytical support to project managers at the program level for a bank integration.


As part of this project team, prime responsibility will be to:

• Manage relationships and all activities with all required partners (business, TS Finance, program PMO, TS project teams, external partners) related to program one-time and on-going financials (prepare budget, forecasts and actuals).

• Utilize project management software for development and distribution of comprehensive set of monthly, weekly and ad hoc project financial reporting to a variety of program stakeholders (including templates for use by other project members).

• Work closely with TS Finance to provide necessary detailed financial data to support the forecasting and tracking of capitalization and amortization.

• Manage all financial status meetings for the program. Provide support for invoice processing. Manage process for all required updates to internal financial management tracking tools (e.g. EPM, Carpe Diem).

• Manage reporting and tracking for resource utilization.

• Exercise discretion in managing correspondence and information, escalating issues where appropriate.

• Act as central point of communication for core team members, management, business partners and other stakeholders on program, organization and platform issues.


Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

•Clearly demonstrated experience having worked as a Project Control Officer within a large Financial Services organization.
•MS Project knowledge to create and maintain project plans.
•MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge to create and maintain documents.
•Knowledge and experience in maintaining a central repository of project plans, reports, competencies etc.
LOCATION: please note, candidate will be able to work remotely 100% of the time; some occasional travel will be required.

Qualified Candidates will have:


The I.T Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Accountable for the development and execution of all IT category strategies and responsible for contributing to development and execution of enterprise category(s)strategy to optimize
- Collaborates with areas of I.T to ensure vendor partners are effectively managed and contracts are being fully leveraged
- Deep and current understanding of local supply/commodity markets and leverage procurement methodologies to drive categories
- Responsible for managing spend for assigned catgegory.
- Responsible for assessing and managing local supply risk
- Accountable for category spend savings targets and objectives
- Support global category supplier relationships and sourcing opportunities, including RFPs, negotations
- Responsible for sound contract management and drive continuous improvement value out of the contract
- Share SME knowledge across other business units and support cross BU activities
- Creates successful relationships with vendor contacts at all levels of the organization
- Works collaboratively with the IT Finance group(s) in reviewing purchase orders and payments as needed
-Accountable for the finanical performance of the vendor's contracted services


Job Qualifications
- 5 years of I.T Category Management experience
- Strong analytical skills and proficient with MS Excel
- Assertive with the ability to work independently and with various business units
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract management
- Solid organizational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of hardware and software industries
- Solid understanding of all IT Categories including Mainframe, Wintel and software licensing as well as Services
