Role

Requirements:

• Hands-on JavaEE application design and development.

• Packaging, deployment and support of builds as code is promoted from Development, System, Acceptance & Production environments

• Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure that development and integration environments are fully functional and that builds are properly deployed
• Unit testing/integration testing of code
• Support of our business partners and the testing teams.
• Active participation in issue resolution, promptly addressing defects.
• Configuration Management / Release Gatekeeping (as project role dictates).
• Knowledge transfer within group and to the production support team.
• Ensuring that solutions adhere development best practices and Architectural principles
• Data set up and environment shake down
• Active participation in issue resolution
• Working with 3rd party Vendors to ensure project success
• Ensuring that SDLC and agile development processes are followed where appropriate
• 5+ years experience in distributed systems development using JavaEE
• Strong knowledge of object oriented analysis and design, implementation, maintenance and SOA
• Advanced skills in technologies such as JavaEE, Web Services, Messaging, JDBC, Servlets. Java Server Faces, Spring/Hibernate, UML and RDMS.
• 5+ years of proven track record developing and delivering solutions for medium to large size projects.
• 3+ years working with leading offshore teams
• Good understanding of development methodologies (i.e. Agile)
• Proven track record with code deployments
• Familiar with TD organization and web banking operations
• Experience with data and development environment set up
• Ability to work effectively with others; self motivated and a team player
• Flexible and able to adapt to change easily

Nice to Haves:

Ideal candidate must have, Java Enterprise Development - JavaEE Web Service Knowledge Java Server Faces - JSF SOA Communication Java Developer experience

Role:

This role is for a VOIP Architect lead for the Voice Over IP Program with the Network Transformation Program. The VoIP deployment is a significant and strategic implementation for the client and will require advanced leadership and relationship management skills.

The focus of the role is to plan and drive the deployment of all aspects of a national deployment of 65,000 user VoIP implementation for all client sites (retail and corporate). Initial deployment is focused on Canada but there are plans to extend the implementation to the US

As a VOIP architect you will be responsible for performing three main areas which include:
VOIP Design Engineering
- Creation of the designs, documentation of the standards

VOIP Solution Engineering
- Take the standards and turn them into designs

VOIP Operations Engineering
- Write the operations manuals, form the processes for the operations group

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop unified communication strategies and architectures
• Perform network readiness and current state telephony assessments
• Develop unified communications designs based on the latest Cisco advanced technologies
• Implement & support unified communications solutions for clients based on industry best practices
• Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation
• Provide quality assurance documentation review and peer review on projects
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams

Requirement or Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of related IP telephony design / implementation experience including:
o Cisco Call Manager
o Cisco Unity/Unity Connections Version 4 thru 8.5 is required
o SIP Trunking
o Cisco Session manager
o IP Video
o Cisco Hardware & Software
o Cisco Telepresence (Nice to have)
o Cisco Digital Media Signage (Nice to have)
o Cisco Tandberg (preferred)
o Cisco Unified Communications versions 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 (nice to have)
o Routing and Switching experience required.
o Voice gateway and voice / data circuit experience required.
o Dial Plan design experience required.
o Working knowledge of Cisco firewalls a plus.
• WAN and LAN QOS is required
• Minimum of 10+ years of related experience in network environments, including network engineering (hardware and software), network security practices and designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs
• Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills are required
• Past experience delivering a system within a large organization
• Must have past experience working on VOIP programs within a large organization
• Documentation experience is a mandatory requirement

Job Description

Our GTA client has a requirement for a Project Manager for a 6 months contract located in Toronto, ON.

The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:

•Develops effective relationships with key stakeholders i.e. Provincial User Council, Business Owners, Business Lead.

•Establishes Service Management function by developing Service Management governance, service catalogue etc.

•Develops Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) process implementation strategies to meet business objectives. 

•Responsible for driving service delivery satisfaction through metrics, management and communication

•Promotes service improvements on an ongoing basis to continually improve quality and customer satisfaction.

•Identifies and Mitigates process service delivery gaps and related risks

•Manages and is accountable for all aspects of Service Management including reporting and escalating issues relating to application support

•Promotes an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service culture by generating awareness internally within the organization and externally with the client stakeholders.

•Develops and supports implementation of education strategies such as Continuous Service Improvement Program (CSIP) on providing client support as service scope grow and evolve

•Develops and implements the strategic planning of all service provision as it relates to Application Management client support

•Contribute to the development and improvement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the current level of service provided

•Participate in Business Systems Steering Committees and present Service Management report

•Manage and collaborate with internal resources to ensure deliverables are met.

•Develop communication strategies and roadmaps for software releases and related AMS activities.

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Project management experience (large scale projects)

•Service level agreements performance evaluations

•Thorough understanding of business/technical issues surrounding the launch of an application and further releases

•Substantial experience in operations management issues and service level agreements

•Experience in the use of project management software

•Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

•Strong Presentation skills and ability to deliver to key stakeholders

•Experience in healthcare sector

About the Job

The purpose of this role is to, plan and build the data collection for remote agents and devices from numerous systems. This role is responsible for defining and coordinating the collection of all relevant metrics, and to assist in reviewing and results to provide the company with recommendations and warnings of capacity and demand issues. The role will participate on project teams, gather requirements and provide input, and contribute to the solutions for systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design / Implement data collection (tools exports and scripts) from numerous remote devices, systems and applications
• Participate on projects team to define requirements, report on systems usage and availability, and ensure proper data collection is in place prior to Prod release
• Produce / Analyze / Publish utilization metrics and system usage forecasts
• Create and Maintain Demand Management update for all server and storage systems through a web page with updates for reserving capacity

Requirements or Qualifications

• 5+ years scripting experience in Windows and UNIX systems, including data xtraction from binary and text files, and developing reports from data. Should include UNIX shell scripting, PERL and PowerShell/VB Script.
• 3+ years experience collecting and analyzing metrics from enterprise-class storage devices (Hitachi, IBM, etc). 
• 5+ year tracking network utilization in a large enterprise environment through multiple tools (agent based and SNMP) 
• 3+ years performing Troubleshooting of network connectivity in a large enterprise environment. 
• 5+ years experience tracking demand and usage metrics for Enterprise-class storage devices. 
• 5+ years experience implementing and using Industry-Standard metric tracking and analytical software (BMP, ONYX, HP, IBM etc). 
• 5+ years reporting on performance or Oracle/MS SQL databases. 
• Experience with reporting through netScout and SAS a definite asset. 
• Must be able to work directly with Project managers and application owners to gather requirements and deliver historical trending and future forecasting reports.
• Analyse & interpret daily, weekly, and monthly data to identify trend exceptions. Candidate must be able to provide remediation recommendations. 
• Must be able to create documentation of processes and create customer- facing presentations, reports and web pages.
