About the Job

Our client has a requirement for an J2EE DEVELOPER for a 6 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role

One of our hiring managers is looking for a J2EE Developer with 5+ years of experience for an Anti-Spam project. This role will be strictly development. Financial experience would be an asset but is not required. Anti-spam experience is not required.

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on J2EE development experience (candidate must have worked with J2EE in their most recent role – this environment is a ‘J2EE shop’
• 3-5+ years of experience with WebSphere Application Server
• SQL knowledge/experience
• Previous Banking experience; specifically working with Investorline would be a huge asset
• Financial experience
• Investorline also uses EJB, Struts, Dojo & Spring; these are not required skills but would be nice to haves

Our client has an exclusive requirement for up to 4 J2EE/Java Developers for long term contract positions.   The positions are located in Ottawa, Ontario.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Experience: 60 months within the last eight (8) years as a programmer analyst using J2EE in the development of enterprise level applications.
• Experience: 36 months within the last 60 months as a programmer analyst developing or maintaining database driven applications using Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Minimum 12 months experience using BEA Weblogic
• Minimum 12 months experience using each of the following: Eclipse, Hibernate, JASPER Reports
• Minimum 12 Months experience integrating Directory Services - (LDAP/X.500) into enterprise level applications:
• Education from an accredited University or College: (any one of the following) :
• Degree related to Computer Science or Information Technology
• OR
• Diploma related to Computer Science or Information Technology
