Role

The incumbent should be able to bring demonstrable and deep Network Management knowledge and past experience to the table having performed a similar role for at least 5 recent years.

Skills

·         A good understanding of network related IT infrastructure 

·         Experience with Network Management applications/tools. (Must) 

·         Strong understanding of DNS and DHCP services (Must) andfamiliarity with GSS and DD functions (will be a plus)

·         Good understanding of SNMP, MIB’s, etc. (Must)

·         Experience in maintaining applications on both Windows and Unix platforms (Must) 

·         Basic understanding of Unix and windows system administration(Must)

·         A technical background in key aspects of network related IT infrastructure, including routers, switches, Firewalls, Checkpoint services, LAN/WAN circuits, etc. (Must) 

·         Experience in scripting (unix shell, PERL) (Must)

·         Vitalnet/VitalQIP and Opnet Sniffing Tools (Must)

·         Advanced tools like SQL extraction, data mining, etc. will also be considered a plus 

·         5-10 years relevant Network Management application/tools experience working in enterprise infrastructure technology organizations 

·         Experience with administering network management applications in a large scale network environment

Requirements

The incumbent must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of POS and Equity based business processes and the POS Point 1 and Equity applications.

Actively participate in the testing of Retail Systems applications, its subsystems, and its supporting technical infrastructure. Analyze project documentation to determine test case and scripts design, participate in test execution and defect resolution. Coordinate and execute other test types including system, conversion, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Qualified Candidates will have

• 2-5 years of practical experience with I.T. principles, testing theory and methodologies
• 2-5  years of proven track record in participating in executing test plans, including analysis, script design and execution
• Strong organization, planning, coordination and scheduling
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Project)
• Experience with Test Director and QTP tools
• Proficiency in SQL
• Customer service focus and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated communications skills (written and verbal
• Demonstrated team player

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of retail POS and inventory management applications

The Senior Development Systems Support Analyst is accountable for the overall security posture of the infrastructure and the systems being supported. • Demonstrates good working knowledge of system security, networking infrastructure, and host connectivity

• Familiar with message flow development; in particular SOAP web services protocol and RESTful web services (API).
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Certifications in IBM WebSphere message Broker and WebSphere MQ are a definite asset
