• Reviews, prepares and executes test cases for the testing of HWNG, CRX and HDM applications to ensure business requirements and standards are achieved.
• Determine and logs defects to investigate post warranty, warranty or new functionality. Documents reproducible steps for software vendor.
• Tests bug fixes by determining reproducible documented steps to complete rapid testing on outside areas of concern.
• Collaborates with accounting, MMS and POS to execute prepared integration tests and update tests as required to cover areas of new functionality.
• Maintains and updates application deficiency lists as required to ensure information is current and relevant.
• Coordinates and executes complete provincial conformance and certification testing for new versions and updated provincial plans.
• Detect defects outside of the documented test cases.
• Schedules and receives and provides ongoing training to ensure current understanding of technical and operational areas.

 

Qualifications

• Post secondary education equivalent to a college diploma in Computer Science, Programming or equivalent. Additional courses in or knowledge of Pharmacy systems.
• Experience with Kroll system
• Must have worked in Pharmacy environment.
• Strong HP QC or equivalent Test Management Tool experience
• Experience working with Use Cases and EPC's (Event Process Chain diagrams)

This individual would be developing manual scripts using Quality Centre to build a new User Interface (UI) for a brand new application (not enhancements). With the new UI, they would need to ensure all functionality works and enter additional information into a DB2 database. There may also be some back-end testing but it would be a small part. It would be good if this individual has SQL testing before.

This individual will be working with batch loading database and they would verify the data mapping and batch process. They need to be detail oriented as they will be working with a number of charts and files. They need to be able to understand financial terms/knowledge (FI required and work with back-end testing). 

Qualified Candidates will have

• FI experience - wealth experience preferred 
• Batch testing experience and file extraction testing - min 4 yrs experience
• Solid knowledge and experience on DB2 database and SQL database in building SQL query

Requirements or Qualifications:

• The individuals must have minimum four (4) years’ experience in Quality Assurance, ideally on a MS .NET development environment,
• The required QA Analyst must be subject matter expert in one or more of the following areas: test case identification, test case creation, test case executions, defect reporting and test corrections, interface testing, unit testing and integration testing.
• Experience in Microsoft .NET Technologies, SharePoint, SQL Server, and familiarity with transportation operations terms and concepts is beneficial.
• Good communication skills are essential, as are advanced MSOffice skills.
• 4 + years’ experience with the testing process and applying software test methodologies
• Knowledge of Transportation Operations terms and concepts.
• Strong experience with writing and executing test cases
• Experience with data analysis and data verification
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Advanced MSOffice 2003 skills
• Ability to generate summary and detailed test progress reports
• Ability to quickly ramp up understanding of underlying technologies and infrastructure
