Role
We are looking for Senior Developer with demonstrated experience and record of successful implementations of Medium to Large Size Java based and Data Conversion related projects.
 
Responsibilities
  • Provide effort estimates for assigned work tickets;
  • Complete assigned work;
  • Interact with business associates to clarify their requirements;
  • Provide required Status report(s);
  • Participate in project related meeting(s), including Daily Stand Ups;
  • Assist other team members as required;

Requirements or Qualifications
  • At least 3 - 6 years of Java, .Net development and Unit testing experience
  • 3-6 years demonstrated experience with ETL scripting,
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience on legacy systems interfaces integration with enterprise applications including legacy systems identification, applications information gathering, strategizing consolidation, disposition of legacy interfaces, interface enhancement (from manual process to web services), integration with enterprise application(s);
  • Technical Skills, knowledge of - Microsoft Windows, Unix operating systems; JSP; Oracle Server; SQL, PL/SQL; MS-SQL Server, XML, UNIX Shell script, dBase, FoxPro, Spring, EJB, SOAP, Eclipse, MQ;
  • Demonstrated experience in new development, modifications / medium to complex customization;
  • Post secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent;
  • Strong command of English language.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to think critically in order to write effective code.
  • Experience with utilizing system development lifecycle for large scale projects and system development methodologies such as Agile, Lean, SCRUM, and Extreme Programming.
 
Nice To Have
  • Experience with Guidewire scripting;
  • Organized, independent, and proactive;
  • Great organizational skills and ability to manage several projects at once;
  • Demonstrated experience applying agile methods in a project management environment;
  • General awareness of current technologies;
  • Experience in integrating/developing tools to improve quality such as continuous integration, deployment, configuration management, test automation, Behavior Driven Development;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Project;
  • Demonstrated understanding of software architecture design and patterns such as SOA, OO, Analysis and Design, Component Architecture, Event/Message Driven;
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Role 
We are looking for Senior Developer with demonstrated experience and record of successful implementations of Medium to Large Size projects to Lead, design, develop, implement and support the Document Management applications and environments by delivering new functionalities, modifying existing processes, integrating vendor packages within current environments, and delivering IT solutions that meet the business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support for the document management systems (Kofax & OpenText Content Server) and be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all Kofax & Content Server software.
  • Active participation in the development, system administration, configuration, testing and support of all aspects of the document management system.
  • Integrating Kofax document capture solutions with RightFax, Content Server.
  • Develop advanced KTM Classification, Separation, and Extraction solution as per project requirements.
  • Build the Initial Kofax Model Using Sample Documents, Test and refine the KTM Model.
  • Respond to service requests and provide problem analysis, resolution, escalation and reporting as necessary.
  • Apply analysis skills to understand and assess the impact of infrastructure and technical changes within the environment.
  • Provide development and infrastructure estimates at various levels of a project to match architectural solution.
  • Design and develop Kofax and Content Server (Livelink) reports.
  • Implement standard and/or custom modules for both Kofax and Content Server.
  • Provide application training to internal users as necessary.
  • Design, develop, implement and test integration of Content Server with external enterprise applications using WebServices/LAPI and other tools.
  • Kofax, KTM, Content Server administration, design and configuration; including search configuration and optimization and index management.
  • Perform application development and integration within Livelink, including designing and creating Livelink Workflows and Forms and using tools such as Object Importer.
  • Conduct and attend technical and detailed design walkthroughs and code reviews
  • Support all testing, create code drop release notes; attend defect meetings
  • Assist in post-implementation continuous improvement and enhancements
  • Prepare all required technical and support documentations
  • Provide after-hours support as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
  • Support the in-house document imaging systems and be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading Kofax Capture ,KTM and Kofax Monitor software.
  • Consult on Kofax Projects across the enterprise.
  • Assist in defining the growth of the organizations Kofax capabilities.
  • Integrate KOFAX document capture solutions with ESB/Websphere MQ/Broker and Guidewire.
  • Develop advanced KTM Classification, Separation, and Extraction solution per each project requirement.
  • Manage the Initial Kofax Model Using Sample Documents.
  • Test and refine the KTM Model using results from control sets.
  • Develop Business Rules, Scripting, and Extraction of Index Fields
  • Optimize scanning and OCR processes and develop new processes as required
  • Measurement and reporting on Kofax metrics as required.
  • Provide internal support before opening a defect with Kofax support.
  • Understand overall integrated solution to identify how changes to one component can impact the other.
  • Ensure technology issues are clearly communicated and drive to resolution.
  • Apply industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business results and/or minimize risk.
  • Contribute to meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables.
 
Knowledge & Skills
  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills level and experience
  • Minimum 3 years hands on experience developing document management solutions which include the following technologies: Kofax Capture (KC), Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM), OpenText Content Server (Livelink), .Net (VB.NET, C#.NET), Java, RightFax, LAPI, Content Server WebServies, OScript, WorkFlows, WebForms
  • Good knowledge of building Web-report Live-report, WorkFLow Form and Form Templates.
  • Experience designing and developing Kofax & Livelink applications and integrations using tools including OScript, WebServices, .NET (kofax workflows and custom panels)LAPI and Java.
  • Experience in building complex SQL statements.
  • Hands-on experience on configuration and installation of Kofax, KTM and Content Server systems, including Content Server 9.7.1 or Content Server 10.
  • Experience working with Object Importer.
  • Records Management knowledge and understanding.
 
Must Have Requirements
  • Kofax SME experience, Kofax Capture v 9+, KTM 5.5
  • 4Experience with document ingestion and training documents to be captured
  • Experience with Workflow agents, custom modules, custom release modules and panels
  • A broad range of MQ, DB, network experience
  • A programming background in .NET
  • Certification in either Capture or KTM
  • Good knowledge of building Web-report Live-report, WorkFLow Form and Form Templates.
  • Experience designing and developing Kofax & Livelink applications and integrations using tools including OScript, WebServices, .NET (kofax workflows and custom panels)LAPI and Java.
  • Experience in building complex SQL statements.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire and ability to adapt to changes and learn new technology
  • Ability to multi-task and stay focused on deliverables.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, work under pressure and deliver under tight timeline.

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for System Analyst for a 1.5 month contract opportunity. The position are located in Toronto.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

Project Tasks:

- Review software application architecture, and test processes for large Web application environment(traditional 3 tier application [Apache, JBoss, Oracle])
- Modify customer standalone test application to examine performance of JBoss Portal on x86 and SPARC environments running Solaris 10. Will run standalone test suite on a variety of platforms and configurations. Data from standalone testing and analysis of application testing will be used to modify JBoss configurations and run application level testing on final configurations.
- One partial week onsite to meet with developers and review prior work.
- One week onsite to run final test configurations


Skills:

- Senior Software Developer - requires 8 years or more of software development must understand Java development tools, JVM monitoring, JBoss, Apache.
- Excellent communication skills required (verbal and written)
- Must be able to review application architecture, interface with customer developers and understand/analysis performance data.
- Must have some development experience with Solaris 10.
