Job Description:
Our Calgary client has an exciting Permanent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Management Advocate who will be the primary liaison with the supply community for products and key tasks.  You will be responsible for participating in SCM strategy development and have a continuous focus on enterprise contributions, prioritization and execution.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years related SCM experience
  • Experience leading discussions with technical, quality and production personnel to ensure total acquisition cycle is managed and met by the SCM team
  • Experience leading discussions with SCM professionals to ensure acquisition needs and priority support levels are understood and communicated in support of the program team requirements.
  • Managing ongoing procurement interface with SCM team in resolving data conflicts with Master Scheduling.
  • Liaising with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance and Quality to ensure multi-disciplined resources are managed within the supply engagement cycle.
  • Delivering stated goals and objectives of Strategic Plan tactical projects, with regular progress reports and communications of emerging risks.
  • Bridging communication, technical or commercial issues between supplier management and program teams.
  • Leading resolution of performance problems and crisis management with regard to delivery, quality, technology or responsiveness.
  • Eligible to obtain a Government SECRET security clearance

PeopleSoft Programmer Analyst

Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for PeopleSoft Programmer Analyst for 12 months renewable contract opportunity.  The position is located in Montreal.


Production Support:      
  • Provide functional and technical support for all modules to the business stakeholders and end users in the Americas region.
  • Perform daily monitoring of processes, batch reports, process queues, and incoming/outgoing interfaces to ensure successful completion, troubleshooting and correcting issues as needed.
  • Perform security administration activities including account configuration and permission settings.
  • Provide support for power users on day-to-day processes in PS Financials (e.g. paycycle, EOD GL, etc.)
  • Provide support for bank-wide end users regarding expense report creation, procurement requests, workflow issues, user-initiated queries, login issues, etc.
  • Advice and train end users on how to properly perform activities in the system.
  • Perform online configuration changes for all modules as needed to satisfy new business requirements.
  • Perform data management as needed for day-to-day, month-end, year-end processes.
  • Perform data extraction or ad-hoc reports to sponsors, end-users, inspectors and auditors as needed.
  • Review, test, and validate source system data. 
  • Escalate infrastructure or system bugs to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Coordinate with various departments globally on rollout/implementation           


Enhancements & Projects:         
  • Act as the local Subject Matter Expert on PeopleSoft Financials for the Americas region, being able to assess all new business requirements in light of SG’s PeopleSoft Financials implementation, both delivered and customized modules.            
  • Provide business process and configuration expertise in the following PeopleSoft Financials/SCM modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, eProcurement, Asset Management and Travel& Expense modules, with insight into technical aspects.
  • Establish strong client relationships with business partners.
  • Communicate with business stakeholders at all levels to elicit, analyze and clarify business requirements for enhancements and projects (transversal or PeopleSoft-specific).
  • Prioritize business needs and requests with the clients based on business criticality, effort estimates and resource availability.
  • Develop and define functional specifications based on user requirements within the context of SG’s global implementation of PeopleSoft Financials, taking into account global strategy (business and technical), and global infrastructure/architecture, 
  • Participate in the design, integration and organization of technical solutions.
  • Engage in full collaboration with the global team in Europe and Asia in prioritizing development activities for the region.
  • Create test cases based on specific user requirements.
  • Coordinate and liaise with user on User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase
  • Document new processes and procedures based 
  • Provide ongoing status to the team and stakeholders on progress, issues, action plans, and current/next priorities
  • Develop user reports with PS/Query by applying technical proficiency with SQL and PS/Query
  • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
  • Work as a team play within all teams to provide expertise and assistance in all initiatives

Requirements and Qualifications
Required/Must have:   
  • Good knowledge of the following PeopleSoft Financials modules: AP, GL, AM, EX, ePro version 8.9
  • Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.49 or above
  • Working knowledge of Crystal Reports for PeopleSoft
  • Proficiency in PS Process Scheduler
  • Proficiency in PS Security
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Queries, SQL, SQR, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Tree Manager, Workflow, nVision
  • Tracing and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Oracle DB, UNIX, NT environments
  • Ability to define functional and technical specifications based on client requirements specifically demonstrated in a PeopleSoft environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Comprehensive understanding of business analysis methodologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize projects to meet time-sensitive deadlines and follow up with clients.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to changing environment/demands. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • A minimum of 7 years working in a functional/business analyst role supporting financial systems. 
  • Combined minimum of 5 years of operational experience with PeopleSoft Financials/SCM versions 8.9.
  • Experience in offsite-offshore working model. Ability to work with teams in various geographical locations.
  • Experience performing business analysis activities for complex financial software systems.
  • Experience with business analysis methodologies, processes and documentation standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with strong IT experience; Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

Position Purpose:
The Lead Developer is responsible for the design and development of SAP BW/BI/ SAP Integrated Planning solutions. This position requires deep SAP BW, SAP Integrated Planning/ SEM and other SAP technical skills. This position is responsible for developing an optimal technical design that fits in with the overall architecture strategy, best practice guidelines and meets all business requirements. The Lead Developer must work closely with architects to ensure proper system design ensuring the highest quality implementations from design through QA to production. The Lead Developer will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working in one of the world’s largest retail SAP implementation. The SAP includes full suite SAP-Retail, POSDM, CRM, SCM/F&R, EFI, and GTS systems. The environment also encompasses Solution Manager, Enterprise Portals, and XI/PI. As such the Lead Developer must have demonstrated experience working in complex SAP environments and in SAP SEM/ IP environments.


Position Responsibilities:
  • View software packages, products and define, prioritize, plan and implement solutions across multiple complex projects.
  • Ensure the team comprehends and applies the established processes, policies, standards and procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of the entire project life cycle. Ability to guide and direct project teams in the requirements gathering, design, and development of complex applications/programs
  • Assists multiple team members and other project leads in the day-to-day activities related to project work.
  • Provide status reports to Manager and review boards on complex development projects.
  • Guide and direct project teams in the requirements gathering, design, and development of complex applications/programs.
  • Ensure compliance and conduct appropriate test reviews as necessary.
  • Strong ability to view packages and products to determine their viability within the solution being considered, or if they would be a good solution in other areas.


Experience/Knowledge Required:
  • Five to Seven years of work experience with SAP in a retail environment. Retail or apparel specific experience is preferred.
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or relative work experience.
  • End-to-End SAP BW hands-on design, development and implementation experience with wide and deep skills in extraction, modeling and reporting
  • Previous experience in the implementation of SAP Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM) and/ or SAP Integrated Planning (IP)
  • Support experience and working in remote teams would be a plus
  • Experience with ABAP, BWA, Basis/DB/Portal/Security, ERP/other SAP would be a plus
  • Transport Mgmt, OSS notes, experience with BW systems of Large volume and complex solutions
  • Previous experience in technical project leadership role. Understands the financial implications of the project (i.e. software capitalization, cost/benefits, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical.
  • Strong decision making abilities.
