About the Job
Our client has a requirement for Business Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.
Job Description
The individual will produce business requirements, business case development and operational readiness documentation based on the client's methodology in establishing a business governance framework and related support processes.
Requirements:
Work closely with the Transition Team on the completion of deliverables related to the transition of business, standards and software from the clients project environment to an Interim Application, Maintenance and Support Team and/or a third party service provider. Provide support to the project and transition teams throughout the transition process to ongoing steady state operations. Prepare operations documents as required, including dashboards, root cause analysis and defect and service metrics.
Qualified Candidates will have:
• Proficient in using different methods of requirements gathering: interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, business object modeling and user interface design.
• Experience in structured methodologies for the identification of user requirements and the development of technical specifications.
• Experience in transitioning software solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience in the Ontario healthcare sector.
• Experience in the Ontario Continuing Care sector.
• Awareness of emerging IT trends and technologies.
• Must be self-motivated and flexible and be able to work with minimal guidance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills, organizational creativity and perseverance skills.
• Collaborative team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
