Job Description

Our GTA client has a requirement for a Project Support for 6 months contract. The location is in Toronto.

Deliverables:

•Provide technical application support in response to MIS and HRIS end-user requests.

•Records and tracks technical applications issues and complaints and contribute to problem identification.

•Informs customers on problem status and progress. Also engages third party vendor support groups as required.

•Maintain an appropriate knowledge of the Windows Operating System, MIS and HRIS software solutions.

•Provide troubleshooting and optimization for technical problems within an area.

•Distribute materials for meetings and training.

•Update database, distribution lists and excel spreadsheets.

•General administrative tasks for the project team, as assigned.

•Create instructional guides for internal and external users.

•Create and gather KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) when requested.

•Responsible for imaging training laptops as required.

Qualifications Knowledge, skills and abilities:

•Experience in healthcare sector

•5+ years experience providing technical support experience in a tier 1 and tier 2 working environment.

•Experience supporting Dynamics GP v10 application in a hosted environment.

•Experience supporting Quadrant QHR application in a hosted environment.

•Working experience with Terminal Servers.

•Working knowledge of remote security access gateways (like Connectra)

•Experience resolving and prioritizing service tickets.

•Experience installing, configuring and supporting Windows Operating Systems

•Experience with Desktop or network support.

•Experience in providing regular updates to project lead.

•Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills.

•A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.

•Providing regular project updates.

•Identifying risks, issues and action items and developing a risk management plan, issue resolution plan.

•Escalating & coordinating any environment requests or high priority tickets with the PCO.

•Experience re- imaging desktops or laptops.

•Certification in Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred

About the Job

Our GTA client has a requirement for a QA Lead Consultant. This is a 6 month contract located in Toronto.

The services and deliverables to be provided will include the following:

Deliverables :

• The QA Lead will oversee testing efforts with the MIS QA team.
• Responsible for evaluating MIS & HRIS application release contents throughout each of the MIS Project delivery cycles.
• Responsible for end to end project testing effort (including, but not limited to, functional, system, integration, and regression testing), reporting and escalation
• Work with vendors, business teams, infrastructure, security & privacy to analyze release documents and lead creation, review and signoff of quality assurance/testing related deliverables (test strategy, test plans, test scenarios/cases, test reports, testing project plans, execution metrics, etc.)
• Total testing and quality accountability for the closed integrated systems and managing quality assurance at a MIS Program level
• Lead and manage (dotted line or direct) the MIS QA team in the testing of Business applications including MIS and HRIS
• Manage the planning and execution of application testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates
• Establish/maintain a centralized & consolidated issue/defect management reporting system
• Manage release follow-up and root cause analysis as necessary
• Create strategy to continually improve the quality assurance framework
• Evaluate & report the quality of software products & make recommendations for deployment
• Set test schedules and communicate schedules to stakeholders
• Ensures that approved scope changes are communicated and shared across various teams
• Work closely within the Change Management Process to assess impact to testing
• Ensure entry/exit criteria for each test phase is fulfilled & coordinate required signoffs
• Support testers by reviewing work and providing feedback
• Work with team through coaching/mentoring to ensure tasks are completed on time
• Oversee and ensure proper execution of the CCIM change management and release gating processes for all MIS Projects

Qualifications Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Minimum of five years experience in successfully leading QA teams in a multi-project environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders including managing expectations, delivering results under pressure, managing conflicting requirements & gaining buy-in on QA initiatives
• Experience in planning, organizing and implementing QA protocols
• Knowledge of structured QA methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications.
• Experience with change management & ticketing systems, specifically Jira & MKS
• Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools including QTP
• Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
• Experience working in healthcare
• A successful track record ensuring client business needs are met, with a track record of providing excellent customer service
• Experience with financial and HR systems specifically Quadrant and Great Plains
• Experience working with large & medium sized software vendors

Our client has a requirement for a Business Systems Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Requirements:

This resource will be assigned to lead various sized initiatives based on experience, skill set, capacity, interest, and project requirements.  You will a minimum of 4 yrs current BSA experience, and having worked on a Minimum of 1 project where direct stakeholder involvement was utilized. You must also be directly responsible for requirements gathering & documenting.

•Use your understanding of business requirements and current business systems to provide day-to-day support to the Integrated Assessment Record project team by addressing systems concerns and monitoring and reporting on systems activities, including Orion suite of products, Rhapsody, Clinical repository and Concerto, Initiate products, Enterprise Master Patient Index and Provider Registry and Business Objects.

•Translates high level, conceptual user-requirements into specifications of business requirements to guide service development activities

•Develop functional requirements based on the business requirements gathered and document appropriately

•Perform process modeling activities

•Define non-functional requirements and document appropriately

•Maintain a traceability matrix of scope, requirements and functions

•Develop release notes for each Integrated Assessment Record release

•Manage requirements through a requirements management plan

•Research and resolve systems problems, advise the appropriate technical team regarding resolution of issues, and communicate pertinent issues and problems to project team to minimize interruptions in workflow

•Liaise with business groups and development staff on system enhancements and solutions to systems problems

•Understand and apply the concepts and phases of the SDLC and focus on the phases that are applicable to the SBA role

•Prepare the System Integration test and coordinate appropriate user and developer participation in test development and execution, assuring that the integrity of the output meets or exceeds business expectations

•Communicate developments that may affect user documentation to the Learning & Development Training Department

•Participate in design reviews to insure that the technical design represents and complies with the requirements

•Work with the project team to obtain input and approval, resolve issues, and keep project team informed of project status

•Coordinate information relative to changes in project deliverables with project team and training department

Qualified Candidates will have:

•five years of MIS experience

•knowledge of application design, development, testing and implementation methodologies

•strong experience meeting with stakeholders, building experience, and maintaining project and team relationships

•strong experience gathering business requirements from business groups and converting these into functional specification documents

•Experience developing and producing formal sign-off documents and business specification documents and prototyping and creating detailed systems specifications

•Developed user documentation and supported the implementation of the developed systems solutions

•You can prepare and maintain detailed development plans for projects, understand and apply principles of project control, and have the ability to manage projects within one or more systems

•Planning, documentation, analysis and business requirements management techniques

•Excellent process mapping skills

•Bachelor's degree, diploma, and/or Business Analyst Certification

Nice to have skills:

•Experience in the Health Care sector is strongly preferred

•Knowledge of software applications and architectures, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

•Strong analysis skills that demonstrates an attention to detail

•Strong problem solving skills that demonstrates a results oriented perspective

Project Manager

Job Description

Our GTA client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This is a renewable 6 month contract located in Toronto. This position will require some travel within Ontario and occasional flexible work hours. You must have access to reliable transportation.


Responsibilities and Skills:

Managing the implementation of the transition methodology and framework within each project. In this role the Transition Project Manager will identify the requirements for transition activities and business processes for internal and external customers in support of the transition goals and objectives and ensure the success of the projects.


Experience transitioning a Solution (preferably MIS) to ongoing sustainability in health sector

Strong understanding and demonstrated success of delivering tools in to the community health sector

Demonstrated experience managing a software vendor in the health care environment

Strong understanding of Healthcare transition projects

Experience project management from inception to completion (i.e. PMP and/or 3-5 years equivalent project management experience)

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills

Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills

Demonstrated experience meeting aggressive timelines

Ability to balance issue resolution with timely management escalation

Experience leading project resources, providing delegation and direction

Developing and maintaining detailed project plan and project records, and supporting documentation
