Role

One of our Clients is looking to add several contractors to augment the staff in their File Transfer Group. The roles will involve doing some documentation, development using the various tools, communications with the CIPG (Customer Information Payment Gateway) support team and CIPG project. After some training on the CIPG application and environment, they will be expected to participate in the on-call support rotation for CIPG.

Currently, the on-call rotation involves several people who are each on call a week at a time.  The on-call person can draw from the entire group as needed to resolve production problems, if they cannot handle it themselves.

The manager is looking for self-starters, independent and creative thinkers, problem solvers, people that have the ability to share and learn information from others as needed.

Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have experience in the following:

• Open Systems – UNIX(Solaris), Linux

Our client has a requirement for a Network Analyst for a 36 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Calgary, Alberta.  

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Tier 1 Network Management and Administration support in a 24 hour Network Operations Centre. This position is shift work; each shift is 12.5 hours in duration (variable rotation over a 12 week period with an average of 40 hours per week).

Our client has a requirement for a Project Manager for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Calgary, Alberta.

This Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of successful project delivery for infrastructure projects within our IS PMO. The infrastructure projects relate to a Sharepoint 2010 Upgrade and an Email Retention project.

As the project manager, you will be responsible for overall successful delivery of the project and will be required to take the defined projects through the Execution and Transition phases.  Throughout the project, Project Management Office (PMO) processes will be followed including:

• Project resource management (internal and contract resources)
• All aspects of project management including scope, schedule, cost, risks, and quality.
• Produce status updates, and lead management update meetings.
• Identify and protect integration points with other TransCanada applications, IS departments and business areas.
• Manage projects to time and budget and to a high level of customer satisfaction. 
• Plan and execute Stage Gate Governance approvals and checklists when considered appropriate by the PMO.   Unless otherwise requested, the PM will follow current PMI standards and guidelines. The successful candidate may also need to work closely with Supply Chain Management, and follow internal processes for engaging an external vendor.

It is anticipated that the project manager may manage up to 2 mid-size projects at a time.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Previous experience Project Managing a SharePoint upgrade project and /or Email Retention Project would be an asset.
• Project Management. PM experience with SharePoint Upgrades and/or Email Retention Projects.
• Proven communication and coordination skills across all levels of the organization
• Stakeholder management
• Leadership skills
• Organizational Change Management
