Our client has a requirement for a Tibco Developer for 12 months Contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Role

Responsible for development and testing of middleware solutions. Write and code according to requirements and designs provided; this individual will be purely doing coding, the design/architecture is already complete.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years experience developing TIBCO Business Works and TIBCO Business Events Applications (we are looking for DEVELOPERS who will be doing coding, NOT for architects)
• Knowledge and experience with: Extensible Markup Language (XML), Java, Java Message Service (JMS), TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, Service-Oriented Architecture principles and Message-Oriented Middleware (all of these are mandatory)
• Strong background in building Service-Oriented Architecture based solutions
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery
• Ability to write and code according to requirements and designs provided
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
• Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
