Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for SharePoint Developer (Administrator) for a 1 year contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa, Ontario (Gloucester).

Requirement or Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full SDLC development and administration of SharePoint.
- Development, testing, implementation, documentation and training.
- Assess organizational needs and come up with appropriate solutions.
- Design, develop, document, and maintain in-house and client facing SharePoint.
- Portals including a unified Document Management solution for the organization.
- Work closely with project teams and clients to develop and maintain SharePoint related infrastructure.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 3+ years SharePoint experience (SharePoint 2010)
- 3+ years experience developing in both Front & Back End environments using ASP.net, VB.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, Java, Ajax and Web Scripting.
- Microsoft MCTS and/or MCITP and/or MCPD SharePoint certifications an asset
- Experience with integrating other business applications and systems with SharePoint.
- Expertise with ECM Document Types, Metadata, Retention Policies, Business Process Management.
- Experience in Exchange/Outlook 2007/2010 adequate to ensure ability to integrate ECM platform with Exchange/Outlook 2007/2010
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Security Model, Events, Alerts, and Workflows
- Experience with SQL and SAN's is a plus
- Strong customer support skills, including understanding of full suite of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Access, Project)
- Strong general Web programming skills and an understanding of Web Services, SOA, and Business Intelligence.
