Our client has a requirement for a Senior Project Manager for 6 months Contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Role:
Looking for a Senior Project Manager required for FX Order Management System and FX Trading Platform implementation. We are looking for someone who can take a project through the entire SDLC, and not just a specific work stream. This PM should be able to take a problem and a budget and turn it into a defined project to create a successful solution. Project Managers that have only ever been part of a large team of PMs contributing to a final product will not be a good fit for this role.
Requirements and Qualification:
- 5-7 years of Project Management experience
- Knowledge of FX products and market place
- Knowledge of FX electronic trading platforms, trade process lifecycle and front to back office data integration
- Previous FX project management experience desired
- Extensive experience managing technology projects through the entire SDLC
- Extensive experience working with stakeholders and executive level leadership
- Strong vendor management
- Strong experience in conflict management
- Have the ability to operate within the senior ranks but also not afraid to get their hands dirty and be hands-on with the project
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
- Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
- Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
- Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio.
- Highly organized with good time management skills.
- Customer service orientation, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor degree in an IT-related discipline or Business Degree
- PMP certification preferred, but not required
