Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for an IM Architect for a six (6) month contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa, ONT. Must have valid security clearance.

Requirement or Qualifications:
The IM Architect activities will include but may not be limited to:
- consulting with business units and enterprise architects to define business drivers and functional requirements for system design projects;
- working with international, GC or departmental information/data standards as input to the design of the solution;
- producing information architecture products such as reference architectures, conceptual and logical models, matrices, workflow diagrams, standards for naming, etc. based on requirements and on other architectural tools;
- ensuring that recordkeeping concerns are expressed in the architectural model, especially when there are linkages between the business system under review and other systems
- developing background documentation to support design decisions
- producing mapping documents to guide implementation of the new architecture
- consulting with IM modeller and Data conversion specialists; and
- sharing documents via the IA repository and the departmental applications registry/repository
