Job Description:

Our client, located in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for a technical writer to consolidate and streamline the documentation from their current systems and evaluate the existing documentation, user needs and make recommendations for material to develop.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• 5 years experience as a Technical Writer;
• 3 years of experience developing end-user online help documentation;
• Depth and breadth of work experience developing end-user online help documentation; including the type of work, its complexity, and responsibilities;
• 2 years of experience in translation of user documentation;
• 2 years of experience with Autonomy TeamSite;
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Word, Visio, and Powerpoint;
• 2 years of experience with Adobe Dreamweaver;
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal); and
• Valid Enhanced Reliability security clearance.

Our client has a requirement for a 4 month contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Ottawa, Ontario (K1P 5K2)

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Looking for a talented and creative web designer who can design and code in HTML.
• Must have a beautiful portfolio to showcase
• Strong graphic application knowledge(Photoshop, Firework, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
• Must have experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile
• Must have experience designing for multiple screen sizes, multiple devices, and multi-lingual interactive web application
• Must have experience working in a collaborative environment using source code control and bug tracking system
• Must be able to work well in an environment with high volume of on-going projects and very fast turn-around times
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Have strong typography, color, and layout skills

Nice to Haves:

·  Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or related studies would

• Social media integration
• Web content management system (Wordpress, Joomla or Drupal)
• Any programming knowledge (PHP, ActionScript, ASP, .NET)
• Looking for a non govt profile for this role, someone with a creative personality,  must have a portfolio of your work.
