Specific Responsibilities & Primary Duties:
  • Develop and maintain a network of key talent potentially available for immediate hire.
  • Develop knowledge related to client needs to effectively target recruitment resources in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Source Candidates through a variety of areas including internet, networking, social media, referrals, etc.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Screen and interview qualified candidates.
  • Conduct telephone interviews via telephone and  define a short-list for client delivery
  • Track all recruitment activities in the company ATS
  • Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and client/hiring managers.
  • Reviews the hiring manager’s interview feedback with each candidate and take appropriate action when required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • College Diploma/University Degree in IT or Computer Science preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience is preferred
  • Previous Technical/Engineering recruiting experience highly preferred
  • Experience with multiple recruiting methods ranging from internet recruiting, market trend analysis and cutting-edge sourcing techniques is required
  • Initiative, proactive, assertive, strong sense of urgency and the ability to handle many job orders simultaneously is required.
  • Ability to keep organized in a fast-paced, multi-request, high-volume Candidate environment.
  • Demonstrated results focus, drive and energy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Solid organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with MS (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook required.

Responsibilities
  • The role is responsible for writing Apama Monitor script based trading strategies to migrate existing strategies implemented in Flex Trade platform to Apama CEP as well as implementing new trading strategies in Apama CEP.
  • The role will be implementing all strategies almost exclusively in Apama Monitor script.

  • Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by participating in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis.
  • Deliver effective and efficient solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, within budget, and adhering to development and quality standards.
  • Conduct pre and post implementation activities ensuring project deliverables are met and communicated to Project Management.

Job Description
Our client has a contract requirement for a UPK Consultant who has experience using Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK) for the design and development of system help, end user system documentation and/or self-learning tools for a computer application. The position is located in Ottawa Ontario.

  • Experience providing training on the use of UPK for the development and publishing of system help and training documentation.
  • Experience developing system help and training documentation for Oracle Financials Release 12.
