Account Manager, Solution Sales

Job Description

Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking for an experienced Account Manager, Solution Sales. The Account Manager, Solution Sales is responsible for the successful delivery of all Zylog’s end-to-end Solutions offerings. The Account Manager, Solution Sales will sell a diverse portfolio of migration services, software, and software related professional service offering to existing and new clients.

Specific Responsibilities & Primary Duties:

•Present and sell Solutions products and services to current and potential clients.
•Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets to create and drive sales pipeline
•Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
•Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
•Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
•Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
•Develop and maintain sales materials and current product and service knowledge.
•Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships, including channel partner relationships. Work with and leverage external partners to deliver sale.
•Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
•Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
•Identify and resolve client concerns.
•Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
•Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
•Direct and coordinate supporting sales activities.
•Participate in marketing events such as trade shows, seminars and telemarketing events.


Key Skills and Attributes required:

•College Diploma or University Degree in Marketing or Business Administration required.
•Minimum 5 years of IT Solution Sales experience required.
•A proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.
•Technical competence required (Ability to comprehend and then articulate technical jargon in easily understood terms).
•Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
•A valid driver’s license required.
•Ability to travel frequently required.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
•Strong interpersonal skills required, ability to seek out new opportunities while managing and up-selling existing accounts.
•Must have experience dealing with clients, contractors, and senior management.
•Must be motivated, goal oriented and persistent
•Ability to negotiate with clients on rates and legal contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client has a requirement for PM III for a 6 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.

Requirement or Qualifications:

This requisition replaces JP6323 as the requirement has changed. Please submit candidates with experience in working as Sr PM building datamart, has worked with Business Intelligence department and has host-based technology experience.
This requisition will move fast and candidates will be shortlisted on Monday morning.

We are looking for a Sr IT PM to plan, coordinate and supervise complex informatics assignments. Design and apply new methods and procedures. Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analsyis and programming. Develop, plan, analyze, evaluate and assign priorities to deliverables and requirements. Define project phases, set deadlines and manage staff. Develop project plans with milestones. Coordinate all meeting and interface with business units, staff and service providers.

When submitting candidates, please include the total budget they have worked with in the past as PM. It would be nice to have a PM with host-based technology experience. Interviews will take place as soon as qualified candidates have been shortliste.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple projects and project managers. Accountable for managing broad and highly complex teams and projects involving significant scope and complexity.

Key accountabilities are:

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Enterprise Data Modeler for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Reporting to the Manager of Information Architecture, the Enterprise Data Modeler is responsible for providing data architecture and modeling services to project and application maintenance teams throughout the IT organization. Working on multiple projects, the Data Modeler will facilitate the collection of information requirements, as well as the development and management of conceptual, logical and physical data models to support the data and information needs of the business community. The Data Modeler will champion sound data architecture and modeling standards and practices within the client.


Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a leadership role in the development and communication of Data Management strategies, principles, standards and best practices
· Develop and maintain both operational and business intelligence conceptual, logical and physical data models.
· Work with DBA's to ensure optimum data performance
· Support the DBA's and Solution Architects to provide the best solutions to meet current project needs that are aligned with strategic direction
· Manage and maintain the data model library and data inventory.
· Partner with Business Analysts to gather business, data and reporting requirements and translate the business needs into logical data structures.
· Review and approve the data designs
· Maintain a level of expertise for the strategic modeling tools, CA Erwin and Modelmart
· Experience with meta data management, data stewardship, data quality, IT governance, CEO/CFO Certification, Enterprise Data Models, and Enterprise Frameworks.
· Control data model changes through active involvement throughout the project lifecycle, as well as reviewing and approving data designs.
· Act as an important contributor to the development and maintenance of IT strategies and plans.


Requirements:

University Degree or College Equivalent
10+ years IT experience in large scale technology architecture,
10+ operations and design related disciplines
4+ years in a Data Modeler or Data Architect role
3rd Normal Form and Dimensional modeling expertise
Team player with excellent communication skills
Facilitation and workshop coordination experience
Business information requirement analysis experience
Adept at balancing the immediate needs of a project with the future vision of the enterprise to achieve a win-win situation
Experience in Retail, Petroleum, Automotive and /or Financial Service Industries
DB2, Oracle and SQL Server experience an asset
CA Erwin experience would be an asset

Dependent on project workload in the PMO, this position may be extended.
Initially, the project work with focus on SAP HCM module. SAP is not a required skill, but the ability to learn a new area quickly will be. Engagement of an SAP vendor will be the first focus of this role.


Performance Expectations:


Manage projects to time and budget and to a high level of customer satisfaction. Plan and execute Client approvals and checklists when considered appropriate by the PMO. Unless otherwise requested, the PM will follow current PMI standards and guidelines. The successful candidate will also need to work closely with Supply Chain Management, and follow internal processes for engaging an external vendor.

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Business Analyst for a 6 months opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.


Currently we are seeking a strong BSA with ITIL experience. The incumbent will be required to understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis, must have knowledge of products and systems process in order to define and document the business systems requirements for the business unit. The BSA will ensure systems deliverable are met, provide consultation as required through project life cycle, collaborate with business leaders, IT groups and vendors to ensure issues are communicated clearly and accurately.
The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working and liaising with business partners to provide research, analysis and documentation of business process improvement opportunities and business requirements.
• Effectively identify, define and document detailed business and system requirements with the involvement of business subject matter experts utilizing the system development life cycle (SDLC) methodology. Translate requirements into functional specification, including process flow and data model documents.
• Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems interdependencies, reusability and ensuring seamless delivery.
• Ensure system deliverables meet business requirements by participating in identifying, designing and testing solutions. Ensure requirements integrity by managing changes to requirements.
• Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input to project charters, project deliverables, cost/benefits analysis, time line estimates, scope and control.
• Assist with the prioritization of initial feature development and ongoing change requests.
• Assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Serve as a resource for the Business Readiness team during evaluation of training and performance support needs and the design of the training and performance support products.

The Quality Assurance Lead Analyst role is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives. Take appropriate action to ensure integrity/safety/public acceptance of information systems.

A vacancy exists for a QA Lead Analyst to join the team and be responsible for various aspects of software application testing, ensuring application is stable and defect free. This role reports into the QA Test Manager.
As part of this team, prime responsibility will be to:
• Lead/contribute to the design, development, execution and analysis of test strategies and plans
• Lead system testing activities.
• Prepare and/or contribute to all documentation for test strategy, test plans, test estimates, test cases, test scripts.
• Manage the working relationship between the QA team, the development team, the QA environment team and the business partners.
• Delivery of all planning, execution and reporting for program testing activities.
• Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, etc.) and that testing meets governance requirements.
• Manage QA team and work with extended team to resolve quality issues.

We are looking for a senior QA III lead with banking experience – credit cards specific. This is a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension. Successful candidates must have a solid background – be reliable – have managed a team of testers - analytical and flexible to overtime when required. Our team focuses primarily on key Risk areas like Market Risk trading polices, Valuation Reserves, PNL and PNL Attribution, VAR and VAR Attribution and Credit Risk Reporting. Our main clients are Trading Risk Services (Middle office) and Treasury Credit Group.

Job Description:

As a System Analyst you will work within a technology team to perform a liaison function between the business side of the enterprise and the technology team to write technical requirements. Combining your superior technology and securities knowledge with highly developed written and oral communication skills, you will work to understand business requirements around Market Risk Reporting systems and work closely with Technology group to create System Requirements specification document. You will also be responsible for systems testing, and will coordinate the business acceptance testing process.

Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Write system requirement specification (SRS) or technical specifications , data flow documents by analyzing and clarifying Business Requirement Document (BRD)
- Review and understand business requirement documents (BRD) to identify requirements gaps by liaison between the business and the development team.
- Work closely with development team to understand application functionality, framework, components, application architecture…etc to be able to create technical/system document with guidance from the tech lead .
- Work with business clients to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, business policies and information systems.
- Investigate and analyze problems, including the use of change impact analysis on all systems and business areas in order to identify business impact.
- Analyze source system feeds (i.e Calypso, WSS, Murex, Summit…etc) and database results to identify business logic/requirements gaps.
- Maintain on-going communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct unit, regression and integrated system testing.
- Participate in user training and manage the business acceptance testing phase.
- Deliver based on project objectives and on timelines.

Education/Accreditations:

- A post-secondary academic degree in computer science or Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline

Must Haves

- 5 years of work experience in the job of Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst
- 5 years of writing system requirement, system specification, data flow documents...etc
- 3-5 years of experience in analysing and querying complex data using Access, SQL Server and Excel with sound understanding of database concepts.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial institutions focusing on reporting applications.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Excel, for in-depth data analysis to validate business rules and identify special cases.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Highly developed analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Excellent time management and priority management skills.
